Absolutely fantastic tune. Absolutely amazing musician. Bob Berg is still my all time favorite musician. And that comes from a (sadly former) guitar player and drummer. Fortunately he has been in Copenhagen (half an hours from where we live) a lot of times.
@@chosen_ones777 sadly, Bob Berg was killed in a tragic car accident in the late 90's (his car was T-boned by a cement truck..I think his wife was killed, too). Berg played with Miles Davis. I saw him play when I was in Naples Italy serving with the Navy in the (former) CINCSOUTH band. He was playing with his standard group at the time (Mike Stern, Lincoln Goines, and the GREAT drummer whose name escapes me right now). This was in '91. Also saw him play at the Catalina Jazz Club in LA with Chick Corea!
@@andrewreisinger6860 He did a gig with Chick Corea in Tivoli, Copenhagen as well. I don't remember the year or who the other musicians were except from Steve Gadd on drums. Yes, damned cars. Damned traffic. Man, he's missed. The few people in my social circle who are seriously into music really miss him and his incredible improvisation as well.
@@andrewreisinger6860 It was late 2002 - December I believe. He had just gone on tour with the new Four Walls of Freedom band with Joe Locke, James Genus and Gary Novak - a killer band! Saw them live at Ronnie Scott's that fall while in college. A few months later he was killed.
Why is this not on spotify/Apple music? I would listen to this all day
Such emotionally musical playing from everyone! Still one of my all time favorite recordings.
phenomenal talent one of the all time greats so sad to think he is no longer with us .R.I.P
Un de mes top solos!! Tellement magnifiquement musical 🎷😍
Short stories is one of my favorite albums
Meraviglioso crescendo. Grandissimo artista Bob Berg. Troppo presto scomparso .
