Can you order a gauge for a pump like that to turn it into a torque wrench pump?

Is it safe to use in offshore platform specially in gas platform while working on christmas tree while doing maintenance there could be trapped gas so if any spark happen it will blow up . Is it allowed to us on christmas three in this case ?
