You’d have to get it inside your urethra, so just pouring it on won’t help. I did sit in a puddle of milk once, because I wiped after peeing, after slicing jalapeños, without washing my hands well enough. That does work 😂
- Take a pee after intercorse/masturbation - Don't sit on cold concrete/benches without a thick jacket inbetween - Pee after longer baths in bathtubs, pools or the beach By experience these three have helped me decrease my UTI's I used to have 3-4 every year before I figure this out.
I was out of the country where i didn't speak their language. I got a UTI and went to the drugstore and tried to explain to the pharmacist what i needed through charades because she didn't speak English. She handed me meds for a yeast infection and i shook my head, pointed to my crotch and pretended to mouth a scream. She laughed hysterically and handed me what I needed! Slightly embarrassing but it gave them a good laugh! 😊
I got a UTI and it was a Sunday morning, everything closed. Googled natural remedies and found apple cider vinegar and garlic. Took it every half an hour because I was in so much discomfort. It went away in 4 hours, I was super impressed!!
Once had it is very persistent.... For me putting more mind to being hydrated and peeing more helped but MOST OF ALL.... hygiene, especially after sex. I just try to... Uhm... Go to the toilet or try to drink a lot of water shortly after so I can go pee soon. It is very effective for me. Have been UTI free for 7 years, before I had it sometime every month. Also as a last thing.... The last one I had I did nit go to the doc immediately to take anti biotics. I tried everything natural first. Drank like no tomorrow, water, cranberry, special tea.... And it just stopped....
Try d-mannose, I got them chronically but I take them everyday and there’s evidence to support that they’re more effective at preventing them than antibiotics
You might have an underlying infection with something resistant to the antibiotics you get. Talk to your doctor, maybe see a urologist if possible. They might need/want to flush your bladder once or twice to rid it of lingering bacteria. Worked like a charm for a classmate at uni who went from 5-7 UTIs per year to 0
But what if you’re in a traumatic environment and you always feel like you have a UTI without having one? I have been tested so many times for one and only a few times have I had an infection.
I hate that a doctor is forced to censor the word pee in order to educate the public about the urethra. It’s really getting out of control tar there is so much hate speech and misinformation, but the simplest and non-violent of words cannot be expressed out in the open without shying away from it to comply with advertisers.
I have a REAL bad UTI right now that I loathe the thought of having to go pee, they say drink a lot of water but that just means I’ll have to pee more frequently which I turn will burn 😭
Ladies, never travel to a foreign land without packing an AZO pill in your luggage. If worst comes to worst, just get baking soda from local grocery store and mix a tbs in a glass of water, it’ll help with the PH imbalance.
Wait so then can your body technically not find it "too spicy" and you have a UTI or at least cystitis or something without realising? The first time I ever had a UTI it buuuuurrrrrned like hell, (and I seem to be someone more prone to them) but every one since, it hasn't outright burned like that - yes the discomfort at my urethra where the urine leaves and the horrible urgency and even blood - but not this full on searing SPICY pain I got everywhere delicate that the urine went the first time. Because I'm so prone to it, sometimes if I get cloudy urine or find I need to go more than usual I get a little paranoid about if I'm developing another infection haha. But I'd be curious to know
I had some many UTIs in my life that I lost that burning sensation when I yet have another one. I always wondered if these cells were just destroyed by the numerous infections.
I’m a military medic for infantry personnel and I had a poor kid come in because he had a burning sensation when peeing and feared the worst, turns out he had unprotected poop shoot seggs and had a jalapeño seed stuck in his urethra

I have a persistent uti but no "spicy pee" whatsoever, which is why it's persistent now, I didn't realise it's there for ages because symptoms didn't match up at all, but lab work said it's definitely one.
