I prefer to use painters tape to hold my card stock in place. I always find adhesive spray gunks up my needle. And you can reuse painters tape over and over.
Back in 2019/2020 when I first heard of using adhesive sprays, my first thought was “No, because it will eventually accumulate on the needle.” So I never tried it. However, painters tape seems like a much more feasible option. Thank you for posting your method. Happy Holidays!!
So exciting to see how simple it is to make embroidered cards and thank you for the great tutorial. Just one problem, a lot of us live in UK and our cardstock sizes are differnent to USA. Our perfect size card is A4. Any suggestions ? Thanks in advance
Hi! We have a great tutorial for embroidering with metallic thread. Here's a link! emblibrary.com/learn/how-to/embroidery-with-metallic-thread-machine-embroidery
I stitched out my design which is a light flower design. The stems stitched perfectly. When i started flower the tension went wonky. I very carefully removed the stitches and started over. It is still a loose tension. How can i fix this?
We recommend emailing support@emblibrary.com and our team would be happy to help troubleshoot. When you email, please include your order number, the email address that you are registered under, and any photos of your project.
Tension settings will vary depending on the machine you are using. We recommend testing a stitch out on cardstock and adjusting your settings accordingly.
I did not know about the lace frames. Awesome! Your tutorials are always informative and inspiring. Thank you.
Another great video! I had tried this a while ago, but the card stock didn't hold up. Now I know to try a better quality card stock.
love the lace idea..
Wow will have to find the lace frames🩷🩷 love making cards this way.
Definitely going to give this a try. I send so few cards, but these are special. Thanx

Great tutorial!
Will you give an example of what high quality card paper to use?
Which ones do you recommend?
Thanks
She did tell us. :)
I just use sticky stabilizer under my metal hoops.
Could you use store bought cards to add material and embroidery too making them extra special?
That's a great idea!
Can’t get it to play on TV VIA ROKU
You say any card stock will work, but I’ve heard others say not to…I’m so confused! I want to make some graduation cards
How do you do use metallic thread? Do you use a larger needle than 75?
