in my country g402 has the same price as razer basilisk essential (sometimes the basilisk is cheaper when promo) . if in your country it's the same, just buy basilisk, better sensor and lighter weight (g402 has outdated avago sensor). or maybe save a little more money for g502/basilisk v3

or if you're lucky, just buy secondhand ec-1/ec-2.
either way i've never heard of reddragon m711 but after quick searching, it has pmw 3325 sensor so it's good ig, dunno about the longetivity and quality control tho

this, by far man. Vaxee is heavier, has an older sensor, is super bulky in hand, and the shape is just worse imo

Zowie mice have some of the best feeling wheels because of this robust design. It's not just the ball bearing ratchet, but the cradle the wheel is attached to that angles rearward to actuate middle click that makes it more consistent to use versus the industry standard of dangling the wheel out of an encoder on the left with the right side resting on a microswitch. That's reduced mechanical advantage that works against your finger's natural range of motion when your hand is gripping a mouse with a slight tilt in the wrist. It's dumb AND stupid and opens the door for variance in how a scroll wheel feels, and Zowie's design alleviates that issue. Nearly every other manufacturer uses the weak, cheap scrollwheel mount crybabies crave, so choose one of those. If you just HAVE to use a Zowie/Vaxee, simply mod the wheel to be less noisy instead of adding to complaints to push a company to stop using an otherwise stellar design, k? Thanks 😊😊

I think it's a preference thing. They could've made it lower but many of the cs pros that beta tested it preferred this weight range
