Joseph, I am so thankful that the Lord Jesus Christ does not reject any who come to him, regardless of our social status, education or lack of it, or anything else. If you come to Jesus and believe in him, and if you deny yourself, take up your cross, and follow Christ, you will not only be received, you will also be blessed both here and now, and in eternity.
@@jeremiahzeiset those are very encouraging words..hope the Lord will deliver me from myself..nothing good in me I am doomed and going to hell..I hate the sins I do..oh how I hate it 😢 ..why am I such a great sinner..wish I've never been born..I look at myself destroying my own life..please pray for me.
@@lauridsmeline2610 It's true, there is nothing good in you, or in me. Our wrestling is with spiritual forces, and our own lusts. But praise God, we are saved by faith, and the same one who tells us to overcome sin is also confident that we can do that. I think the biggest thing I need is to love the Lord with all my heart, to love my neighbor as myself, and overcoming sin, while it make take a while, is within reach because my goals are right. Don't despise your life. Instead, deny yourself the pleasures of sin. It's not about you, it's about Jesus. And then, praise the Lord, we have this incredible promise that He will not turn away anyone who comes to him by faith. _Everyone the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will never cast out._ (John 6:37)
I'm curious about your handle. You must like alcohol? I think a person can be a Christian and drink, yet for the sake of those who stumble because of alcohol, I'd recommend not touching it, for everyone else's sakes, if not for your own.

Have you heard of this thing called the coronavirus? 🤣 I chose this name during lockdowns and all that stuff, when every day was just corona o'clock because it's all the same. I've heard of the Corona beer so I know what you mean, but it's not even a popular brand in my country so it never occurred to me that someone could see my username that way. I'm sorry about the confusion, I'll think of changing it if I technically can.
