Hello Ajay, I have taken a test drive on Jeep Compass. Jeep is not spacious at all when compared with Hector. I am 5.7 ft. tall and at the back seat my head will touch the roof lining of Jeep Compass. Moreover Jeep is overpriced the limited plus varient petrol is priced at 27 lakhs and Trailhawk the 4x4 AT Diesel at 36 lakhs on-road.
@@DriveStraight Jeep compass is in league with Q3, X1. Although X1 is slightly better to drive but Jeep compass is not that far away from X1 when it comes to driving. It's actually better than Q3 in driving department but that's my personal opinion. Automatic is only feature that is missing here. Comparison with Harrier is bit stupid. You pay for engineering that Jeep offers . It's impeccable steering and driving feel is at par with cars one level above. Harrier is overrated here because it's built by Indian company and quite frankly even I am proud of Tata of what they have achieved with Harrier. But Jeep compass crowd is different. Harrier main competition is Creta price wise and it will destroy Creta when it comes to overall feel. Drive the car and then comment. I do not understand why people complain about something they have not driven. It's quite clear why it is expensive when you drive the car
@@Ajay-nj4vx : If you're 5.7 feet tall you'd know what I am talking about. Rear seats are quite crampy for taking three. My head touched the roof-lining at the back and I have driven the Jeep (Petol) 1.4 engine and personally I can't give a 5 star rating for the Jeep for that price. Also as per the service advisor at Jeep who shared that MG Hector which is closely 7-8 lakh lesser has the same fiat engine as of the Jeep. So on comparing Jeep vs Hector (which is the new Chevy Captiva), which is where the comments took place initially. Hector get the badge for spacious cabin and the latest tech with the same fiat engine of 173bhp and for 7-8 lakhs lesser than of the Jeep. You're absolutely right with the more expensive Bimmer X1 and the 30 lakh + Q3 or the Tiguan and Kamiq are or may be the direct competetior for the Jeep but conider the price differences.

I have taken a test drive on Jeep Compass. Jeep is not spacious at all when compared with Hector. I am 5.7 ft. tall and at the back seat my head will touch the roof lining of Jeep Compass. Moreover Jeep is overpriced the limited plus varient petrol is priced at 27 lakhs and Trailhawk the 4x4 AT Diesel at 36 lakhs on-road.

@@DriveStraight Jeep compass is in league with Q3, X1. Although X1 is slightly better to drive but Jeep compass is not that far away from X1 when it comes to driving. It's actually better than Q3 in driving department but that's my personal opinion. Automatic is only feature that is missing here. Comparison with Harrier is bit stupid. You pay for engineering that Jeep offers . It's impeccable steering and driving feel is at par with cars one level above. Harrier is overrated here because it's built by Indian company and quite frankly even I am proud of Tata of what they have achieved with Harrier. But Jeep compass crowd is different. Harrier main competition is Creta price wise and it will destroy Creta when it comes to overall feel. Drive the car and then comment. I do not understand why people complain about something they have not driven. It's quite clear why it is expensive when you drive the car

My head touched the roof-lining at the back and I have driven the Jeep (Petol) 1.4 engine and personally I can't give a 5 star rating for the Jeep for that price. Also as per the service advisor at Jeep who shared that MG Hector which is closely 7-8 lakh lesser has the same fiat engine as of the Jeep. So on comparing Jeep vs Hector (which is the new Chevy Captiva), which is where the comments took place initially. Hector get the badge for spacious cabin and the latest tech with the same fiat engine of 173bhp and for 7-8 lakhs lesser than of the Jeep.
You're absolutely right with the more expensive Bimmer X1 and the 30 lakh + Q3 or the Tiguan and Kamiq are or may be the direct competetior for the Jeep but conider the price differences.
