Thanks for a great review of a car we've owned since March 2019. Interesting how it still ranks so highly considering how fast things have developed in the EV world. We are retired Brits living in France and got one of the first batch to come into France. Have now done 53,000 km and still loving it. We hope to run it for many years.

Regards buying a Kia e Niro now I couldn’t agree with you more. We have the Kia e Niro 4 and love it. The range that Kia claim is easily achievable and on many occasions we well exceed that 282 mile range that Kia claim the best I’ve had out of ours is 324 miles. Granted that’s not belting up motorways but on roads with 50 mph limits. It will be interesting to see if Kia continue with electric version when the current Niro range gets a full refresh this next year.

Having spent quite a bit of time with the e-Niro now, I can’t think of another EV that represents such good value. I’m glad you are enjoying yours.

Picking our 2021 model up on Wednesday. The only colours the Kia showroom could get were black and silver. The wife chose silver. Can’t wait.

@@Richard482 I’m sure you will enjoy it especially if it’s your first Ev . We had the hybrid version before. The difference is like night and day to drive.

@@stephenclay6852 Our current car is a 2016 Nissan Leaf. The wife needs a car with a higher range, with going to university and doing home visits with her job.

Thank you for creating this video....very reassuring. I'm based in Ireland and currently looking at the eNiro. I'm also looking at the new EV6, but the shape is not great for a family car IMO. There is a sloping roof line and the boot is very shallow. Wondering if there are other cars, similar in price and dimensions to the eNiro. Good thing for us, we are getting more choice.

Welcome to the club. We got ours in March 2019, one of the first batch to come into France where we live. Check out Kia e-Niro Diaries and Kia e-Niro Diaries Encore on RUclips for the long term ownership experience...including fun and games on long road trips within France and to UK and Switzerland.

It's relevant along with any other older EV.........especially when you consider that the car manufacturers can't get the micro chips. Take the Ioniq 5 debacle. Only 400 to come to Australia sometime in January/February, with no insite as to when any other new car is going to come to Australian shores. A bird in the hand is worth 2 in the bush! lol :)
