I grew up in Brevard County but partied, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday night everyweek! Man I miss church st, Edge, firestone, cairo, Barbarella you name it I was probably there LOL... Partied South Beach too!! Man the 90s were freaking awesome! So lucky to attend so many raves, after parties, got to see so much amazing talent! Then I had kids and grew up LOL.. Still dreaming the dream through music LOL.
42 year old former party kid checking in. Hey we may be old now but I still dance to the music all the time, love me some electro bass /breaks!
You’re telling my story! Haha. Grew up in Indian River County, though.
How about Daytona Beach when I met her in person
I went out on those nights too! My way of coping back then.
Partied in South Beach in the 90’s.....
You brought me back to those great memories. Club Shadow Lounge, The Kit Kat & of course The Mix. Great freaking times🤗
I was stationed in Jax Fl for 12 years,. For those 12 years it was breaks. 1998-2010. Icey, Huda Hudia, and this machine of a DJ, Baby Anne. Icey is still laying it down.
Club 5, Edge / Club 2000, The Roxy, H20…
@@sober_edc6877
Milkbar, Ocean Club, Kit Kats, Club Tsunami, Hurricanes and Evolution. I loved The Roxy. I went there many weekends from 1997 to 2001.
So nas or mayport? I grew up in arlington close to mayport. So my years of partying to this style were 2000-03 04 ish. But mainly 01-02. I was 16 give or take. And the drugs were great and music made em better. Wouldnt do it again so to speak. But wouldnt change the experiences. What ya know about soho's/plush/rain? None exist anymore. But good times

Anne and Icey! Breaks forever!
I always thought that.
I still jam to escape and everyday by Icey almost everyday
Breaks For Lyfe
I had this shit on my Zune player! driving to downtown Orlando from clear water every Saturday and Sunday nights to here it blasting in the club when i got there, hella good memories here. without music like this edm wouldn't exist let alone thrive, most people don't understand the roots of where great music came from. in its time this was the shit. this was out before sandstorm and all that mainstream bs.
It's still the shit dude. It's classic. I have all baby anne's music. She's a legend
There’s nothing like being in your 20’s and partying in Orlando and Tampa during the 1990’s. So much fun and great vibes.
Raving weekly in Indian River County back in the day. And believe there’s was tons of Baby Anne, Rick West, Icey, so many great DJs!
I'm an Indian River County native born and raised 1980 DJ Icey DJ baby Ann DJ delirium where all the greats But I still don't miss Zero Beach My bad Vero Beach
14th Ave at Jimmy's and Motel Yellow
The fucking best. Wore this CD out. It was the theme of many a house parties in central florida.
Couldn't agree more. I miss the Techno Beach Party from Real Radio back in the early 2000's. Wonder what happened to Anne. And if her and Icey tied the know....
And here i thought that it was lame after listening to Icey Essentials. To this day this album is fire.
Cant hear her music without going into full blown mid lyfe crisis lol.. daam i miss those days so much
Seriously! I feel you on that! Haha
Lol. Took some space caps for my 45th birthday. One of the first ones on my playlist 😂
Lmao, so true.
yep, tears, actual tears
My arms hurt just from listening to these songs. If you know then you know.
😂
Stroking it

Ybor City baby
Baby Anne is by far the Queen of Breaks.
I had two 12"s and a 1500 watt amp in the back of a Honda Civic and wore this CD out!!
Dats dat baby. Mf bass queen. Florida breakzzzz
I love seeing all of us older millenials who partied to this music. Im from the appalachain mountains in westen nc, and we'd have large house parties with this albumn on heavy rotation.
The good ole days ,, I banged this in my system down l-95 down to Miami. Remember the Edge in ft Lauderdale/chili pepper . So many good times banging out to the bass queen
Probaly 3lbs of my sweat in the Chili Pepper carpeting still. Might be a couple inhalers there too LOL
Tragedy that breaks never left Florida..I been playing some tracks for people out here in Europe, and they love it!!!
That's cool 😎 gotta stay fresh
FL Breaks have been everywhere. They mostly just travel underground, though;)
r.arroyo
Your playing florida breaks in Europe so . . think about it
I was introduced to Fla Breaks in 2000 in Fort Myers, theres nothing like it even to this day.
Florida breaks were the best by far.
Thank god i was raised in Orlando
Not really I'm from Washington DC and the scene there was live and well from mid 90's till early 2000's saw Icey many a times was one of my favorite DJ's and turned lots of after parties up with there tracks
My youth growing up in central FL.....good times
Baby Anne and Icey. Had to be in the late night crowd to get the goods
Brings me back to The Edge in Orlando and the Club at Firestone.
I miss the Firestone.. Memories!!
@@bjhouse40 great place for shows back in the day. Church Street used to be the spot!
I was there from 92-97. Stayed after I grad for the beans.
I grew up in Orlando couldn't wait to get old enough to experience the club scene always heard about Cyberzone and Firestone and Roxy. Turned 18 in 2003. Got to see Baby Anne live years later at Firestone sometime around 2013. Became a DJ myself so was able to enjoy the show from the green room and on stage with her. Was tremendous experience, a dream come true. She still killed it in 2013 and is likely still killing it.
.ca bass QUe€Ω
Orlando represent!!
Graduated Winter Springs High in 01’. Great song
Baby and Icey came to the lil ol town of Mobile, Alabama to a club called the Crown in early 2000. Most of my friends I introduced to the scene ended up working there. Needless to say we had a hell of a time

Oh yes , I was there on the night Dubtribe was playing and it got raided.....1997
Oh yea! Right before they started fight nights.
I destroyed many a speaker in my car to this. I literally caught one of my polk momo tweeters on fire with this album
Grew up watching her explode in Orlando. We danced for hours!

I remember meeting Baby Anne at a party she headlined with Icey and AK1200. She tore the freakin roof off that place!
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥2021🔥🔥❤️❤️❤️🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀Baby Ann the bomb 💣💣💣💣 Florida break beats don’t play neither does this lady, Baby Ann on point
Instant classic. I remember hearing it the first time in some record store in South Miami Beach. Was vinyl and the turntable had some headphones hooked up. I listened. Made it a point to get the name. She's a beast.
I can't remember the name of the Club but it was 2000 in Daytona Beach and that Pepper Spray Track was THUMPING! Was so much fucking BASS. Awesome times. All the Hip Hop Spring Break heads didn't know what to do at first...but before long they were into the Breaks 100%. Long live Breakbeat. thank you Icy, thank you Baby Anne
Most likely Club called "600 North " right on A1A. Saw Baby Anne and Icey there a few times. Fun times!
Either 600 North or Razzles but more likely 600 North. I fucking lived at that club 💋⚡ God I miss those days 🎶🎧🌈

going to just say.. Ultra 1,2 and 3. Baby Anne + Ms Easy Does It? Nothing will ever compare. Jen Lasher joined and OMG. Space? The only place. Chilli? Maybe ..saw Icey there... Icey + Baby?? Holy union.
Lasher was badass. I really like kimball collins too. He did some work with icey called "the KI project". Great stuff. Im in my 40s now, but i still dig back thru some old beats every now and again. I was lucky enough to live in birmingham Alabama, but would constantly drive to atlanta, new orleans, orlando, tampa, miami, chatanooga, nashville. Etc..
The south was lit. Thank you for the memories. ❤
2022 and still listening!

I Love Dj BabayAnn!! UrDa Best
We saw her a few times to get ideas, but I wanted to stay true to my form, and not get too drum and bass in my songs. Now my breakbeat version is playing all over the US especially in Texas the last few months! RF😀

I love this album, hope she makes some remakes and sticks with this era cause dis shit rides dub step sucks✌
Dubstep sounds like it was invented for 13 year where Playstation network is the closest thing theyve ever been to a rave party
if everyone heard this kinda shit everyday there'd be no war, no hate, and just love. maybe we were all on to something that saved us from killing ourselves, our freedom and our mother earth. we were all told we were going to die in the 99's as children we all believed the world was going to end before we even could graduate college and find a job....sooooo, we all just lived. we lived every single day like it was the last, and from that i know for a fact, Central Florida raised our vibrations so high to help humanity and mother earth to a whole and saved us. believe it is the truth i was there.
Storm Club 🤦🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️🤯
I remember hanging out with Mariann Breslin (aka DJ Baby Ann) and her brother Derek before some of her concerts in Florida back in the day!
