current army 13b here. according to standards, males can have as long of hair as they pleasd as long as it is slicked back/styled within requirements. this is a recent change, happened when females where allowed to wear their hair down as long as it is no longer than shoulder length (such as in the video but i think she needs a trim tbh).
@@thebigmon interesting. i was explained this by a male infantry enlisted folk with 28 years experience. and 3 combat deployments. he is a drill sergeant now and he has very long hair. he slicks it back (as long as it doesnt pass him neck). and he is in regulation
@@sovereigngoose Your very experienced enlisted infantryman doesn't have the authority to put his signature on regulations despite all of his awesome and cool deployments. It doesn't work that way and he certainly doesn't attend morning briefings with the battalion commander. Where are you stationed? I'd like to check it out for myself. I'm very interested.
@@thebigmon no no dont take it that way. it wasnt just him. our sergeant major backed him up. im stationed in minnesota i have to go through ait yet this summer
I bet none of the drill sergeants could put me to do push ups at fort polk
Why are females allowed to wear their hair long but not the males? That doesn't sound equal treatment to me. Honest question.
