Oliver is SUCH A CUTIE!! It's actually good you got a puppy, dogs in the range of 9 months-2 years are literally teenagers, and for a first timer like you it would have been a nightmare! So I'm very glad it turned out this way, you'll have time to adjust before craziness begins lol! But he looks such a calm baby. I honestly can't wait to see your art of him?! 💘
Hi Paloma, I just wanted to leave a comment to say thank you. I have been down for years and sadly I have to admit I have left my passion for my art in the dark for too long because I felt as though I was a failure and would never be able to find a way to get off the ground with it. I picked up a stable job instead and sadly years seemed to have blown by and I’ve only found myself becoming more and more depressed and anxious as time went on because I haven’t been doing the things that I love the most, creating beautiful works of art. About 3 weeks ago I was bumming around on RUclips and your channel came up as recommended and I’ve been binging watching ever since and discovering new artists as well. You’ve inspired me to pick up my art once again and to try live out my dreams of being a full time artist. Although I probably will never have such a wonderful RUclips channel, because I hate the idea of being on camera I do hope to have some success like you. Hoping for the best, one more time.
im glad you've picked up creating again!! i think every human should have at least one creative outlet. i amsending you the best of luck, and everyone's journey looks different!!
Looking very forward to more Ollie content and seeing how you draw him. I have a hard time drawing my dogs because I love them so much and I want the drawing to capture them perfectly lol, it’s too much pressure. 😂
Hey Paloma, thanks so much for your videos and how real and authentic they are. They inspired me to start my own small polymer clay earring business which has taught me a lot already. Keep up the great and inspiring work 🥰 Enjoy having a fur baby!! They make life so full 💕
"that shit is my crack" 😭😭😭 ahhh yes, I live for these moments where you talk about something and that person totally just gets you and then you're both in sync on a topic you are wildly into for a few minutes 🙌 Aw so glad you are feeling better and wowee! Another addition to your little Paloma family. Happy for you ☺
Hi Paloma. So glad you are feeling better. Perhaps it is the magic of editing, music and lighting but your place seems so peaceful and ,though Clemmy is a little stressed, your pet family seem so loved and chill. I paused you to get some dinner. As I walked down the stairs I sang a little tune to my self. It went like this, "She got a cat and a cat and a frog and a dog" LOL. My husband looked at me strangely but gets me. Did I get your pronouns wrong? If so, I mean no offense. Congrats on expanding la familia.
Omg I’m so happy you got a little sausage. I have one too he is 2.5 years old! They are such loyal dogs it’s so good for your mental health. He’s such a little cutie 🥰
Ollie is so cute! Looking forward to seeing Ollie art ❤️ super random, but where did you get the white blouse with the giant collar at the beginning of the video? I've been looking for something similar
Hello, it's great to see you here again. I really missed you. and I have a suggestion to make a video. Is it possible to make a video about the sizes of the canvases that you work in and how we should prepare our work well if you want it to be printed on any medium, the name of your drawing style, the references that inspire you or you like the most? Colors that attract you, etc. I would like to learn a lot from you, thank you for giving us a lot of relaxing times.
I have some of those wood slices that I want to decorate. Want to do some cozy autumn themed stuff for sure. I can definitely empathise with the minefield that is commission work - particularly for tattoos 🤡
hi there Paloma, just thinking would it possible to make another procreate video in the near future? I always refer to your videos while im drawing on my iPad because im trying to get really familiar with the settings and everything ..(ive been really creating my style the last few months)! idk if you'd need something less vague to talk about idk if anyone else would want it either but just curious bc your videos are so calm and at a good pace and help a lot! much love + hope all is well, your pets too
the procreate pens you use are always so cool! are they self made? or did you buy the brushes online? i have been trying to find some to use on my procreate but i dont like the ones it comes with. May i ask where you got yours?
OHH MY GOSH…I wondered why I didn’t see any content from you, glad you are doing better!❣️✨But also I have no idea how I was unsubscribed from your channel! Anywho Oliver is too cute! Congrats to the new addition! ❣️✨
Omg Oliver is so cute!!! I also have a dog and two new kittens so I know the struggle of owning pets..! I’m glad you are feeling better now though 🙂 xx
I loved this video! so aesthetically pleasing! I have a sheltie (shetland collie) and his name is Oliver (ollie)! i hope the doggy journey goes well!🫶🫶🫶
Hello wonderful human being, Paloma! It makes me so happy to see you getting a dog! I loved the video. I wonder why you keep the collar on Ollie. Perhaps its a first timer mistake? A lot of people do this but not with a big one like the one Ollie has. I highly recommend you let the furr breathe when possible. My dog only has her collar on when outside on a walk. Her furr is flawless while my grandparents dog has a weird dent in the furr where the collar is. Its your choice of course but i recommend you try to keep the collar off when inside. :)
i had a few other comment on this! so oli is not potty trained and also not trained for anything. i leave his harness on about half the day so that i can get his leash on fast in case of needing to go outside to pee, or trouble with the cats.
Hi! How on earth did you end up owning a pair of Lucy & Yak dungarees?! They are a small environmentally friendly company based in my hometown Brighton and I genuinely did a cartoon double take when I saw you wearing them! They look great on you!
The same dog situation sort of happened to me - I was looking to rescue an adult dog bc I didn’t think I could handle training but it was early pandemic when everyone was getting dogs and it was almost impossible. Then in a random Walmart parking lot I came across a woman selling some puppies and I said yes before I could overthink my way out of it. I’m so glad I got my lil baby, it was tough at first but dogs are just such a highly rewarding pet to have
i luv this video!!!! but as a long time dog owner, pls take ollies harness off when hes inside 😭 he doesnt need it!!! if u want to have something on him when hes inside, a get him a little collar but he rlly doesnt need to be wearing a harness when he's not on a walk. think of it like wearing a bra all day! its kind of the same for dogs- gets uncomfortable after a while. it can actually help in the training process too, to only put his harness on when he's going for a walk bc then he will always associate it with walking:)
he doesn’t have it on all day anymore, it was the first few days while he was getting the hang of potty training. i had to be able to get his gear on quick whenever he had to potty before having any accidents. he gets breaks from it :)
also keep in mind when first introducing a new dog to a household with other animals, it’s important to be able to easily grab your dog or reattach a leash to the harness to keep all animals safe. not sure if that was the situation for paloma, but it’s something to keep in mind for others’ situations! and if you think a collar is good enough instead of a harness, that might be true for some situations but not all! i have a slippery schnoodle who i keep shaved and she will absolutely wriggle out of her collar if she wants to
@@bensolouwu yes! luckily the cats are doing much better but i do have to be able to grab him quick if he gets too excited around them. i have a harness for him because he's a doxie and i get nervous putting all that pressure on his neck! i think harnesses distribute the weight and pressure while leashed a lil better. everyone's situation is different
Great that you’re feeling better. Here’s the thing though…you’re an artist yet you see fit to give medical advice? About experimental drugs that can injure or kill!! That’s not okay. Please…stick to art! 😢

hahaha, 'She got a cat and a cat and a frog and a dog' sounds like its straight from a cute children's book. Love it.
@@Inkymakes Can’t you just see them stacked in the order they arrived with the dog balancing on the tiny frog? LOL, I would buy a print. Hint hint
