At least in FH, the cars feel closer to its Motorsport version. The physics of The Crew are extremely arcadey. Both are still fun though. I prefer the drive feel of FH

The map in the crew 2 actually gives you a reason to drive, nobody is pointing out that the crew 2's map is SIGNIFIGANTLY larger than fh5's desert map, as well as it having planes, boats, hovercrafts, monster trucks, a heli, drag cars and more, plus its 3 years older.
I play both of them a lot. Like a whole lot. They're very different. Cars handle a lot differently comparing these two games. I agree they seem to be competitors in that very specific style of racing game but in their own respects they are very different games

I haven't bought it yet because i was confused between forza horizon 4 and Crew 2 but now i have watched some comparisions and by the looks of it, Forza horizon 4 has better textures and graphics etc but Crew 2 has an overall better gameplay, Map and Multiplayer. @@K1R13T0 quite the opposite, actually. the crew has way too much grip in the tires, and is more comparable to the likes of NFS. Forza horizon, however, has a much more realistic handling model and is more comparable to real life. not to say it isn't softened slightly, but it's still way better than the Crew 2.
The best thing about the crew is open road trips on motorcycles. I play tf outta both games but I play the crew the most just cause it has dirt bikes and motorcycles
Graphics are different and crew2 has bikes boats and planes and a lot more areas to explore and in the crew 2 on the top of the map it takes you 33 min to get to the other side unlike Forza horizon 5 it takes 5 min to get to the other side and the crew 2 has missions to get more cars and money and yo can be a taxi driver. But Forza horizon 5 has better graphics and more content and more customization options unlike crew2 where you have to do races to upgrade your cars rather than pay (with in game money) to get upgrades but over all crew2 is a little bit better than forza horizon 5 but if your playing with like a driving sim setup and have the steering wheel next to the tv you would have to see the wheel to be in first person unlike Forza horizon 5 you can choose to see the steering wheel or not the steering wheel over all crew 2 is a little bit better in my opinion but you have to experience both first to get your opinion of both games and both games are really good!! So try them out in the free time!!!

Probably because the crew two was originally released on last gen consoles. Graphics are still super good on ps5 if you set your ps5 to resolution mode and the graphics mode on tc2 it will look good. A fair comparison now would be Forza Horizon 5 and The Crew Motorfest

People always out here bashing The Crew 2. They fail to understand that, A) Forza Horizon is also NOT REALISTIC. It is NOT a sim racer no matter how many times I read fans of the series say it is. It’s slightly simcade, but at its core it’s an arcade racer, just like the TC2. Neither games handling is anything to write home about IMHO. B) The scope and size of TC2. The graphics are undeniably better across FH4/5 there is no argument about it, but the scope of TC2 is much much larger, and while the graphics “suck” in comparison it isn’t horrible to look at especially when you consider what is happening within this game. Example, you can drive 40 minutes cross country, while someone else can simultaneously fly above you at max altitude. It’s incredibly ambitious of Ubisoft and a success at that when you step back and consider this. I will say this in defense of TC2, the sense of speed is more impressive than FH, and quite frankly I personally believe the game offers more fun of an experience (cars, motorcycles, boats, planes) you’ll never be bored if you dive into all the families the game has to offer. At the end of the day play what you like. Yeah FH has an incredible reputation, and it’s equally incredible to look at. But to constantly see people ripping apart TC2 is unfair, the game has transformed so much and for the better since it released in 2018.
Forza is better, but the crew 2 is a lot of fun. Being able to ride motorcycles across the whole USA is a lot of fun. But there is way more than a few subtle differences.

Honestly, as someone who has over 150 hours in the Crew 2, Forzas 4 and 5 as well as NFS Heat, i must say that Crew 2 is on the bottom of my list for gameplay. I mean the bikes are cool but the cars feel too light and the steering is weird.............
