Suo Gân: A Welsh Lullaby
Suo Gân
Hush, my dear one,
Sleep serenely,
Now, my lovely
Slumber deep.
Mother rocks you,
Humming lowly,
Close your eyes now
Go to sleep.
Angels hover,
Ever nearer,
Looking on your
Smiling face.
I will hold you,
Close enfold you
Close your eyes now
Go to sleep.
Lovely darling,
I will guard you
Keep you from all
Woe and harm.
Slowly, gently,
I will rock you,
Resting sweetly,
On my arm.
May you slumber,
E’er so softly,
Dream of visions
Wondrous fair.
I will hold you,
Close enfold you.
Close your eyes now
Go to sleep.
May you slumber,
E’er so softly,
Dream of visions
Wondrous fair.
I will hold you,
Close enfold you.
Close your eyes now,
Go to sleep.

What a soldier, respect each others even they are enimies is one of the great honor
This scene has so many complicated undertones to it… It shows how Jim is still just a boy who loves airplanes, but in the beginning, he is smart enough to know he is dealing with the Japanese, so he just picks up the rock and carries it… it’s almost like a struggle transition between being a boy and becoming a man… His appreciation for the airplane, and how beautiful it is the Japanese officers salute him, almost entering into manhood
what a beatiful scene, very emotional and poetic, i love it 😢
beautiful movie
Amazing score Mr. Williams
That. Is how you do. That.
