10:05 The go/no-go indicator works fine. You just have to look at it the mount end with your line of vision perpendicular to the can and directly at the line separating "go" and "no go," which eliminates any parallax error that occurs by looking at it an an angle. It isn't a perfect set-up, admittedly, but it works if you view it properly. I will agree they definitely have costly add-ons. That end cap should shouldn't retail for more than $30.
So this basically like Surefire SB2, which is a dedicated 5.56 can with larger baffle bore in the baffles to reduce risk of baffle strikes and better for SBR’s! I have a Surefire SB2, Rugged Razor 7.62 with a 5.56 end cap and a Deadair Sandman S 7.62 with a 5.56 endcap, and to be honest they all go toe-to-toe in performance with a 16” carbine. I love each of them and wouldn’t get rid of any of them! I run the Rugged Razor 7.62 primarily on my .308 Springfield Saint Victor now for hunting , but run it from time to time on my 5.56 carbine. They are all built to be brutally run and to have minimal POI shift and I’d say they all do a good job at that! Lastly, my Rugged Razor is the 7.62 model as mentioned earlier, and it works great on 5.56 in both sound suppression and flash mitigation, so I suspect it should be better in your 5.56 model with the enlarged internal baffle bores ( e.g. Surefire SB2).
Yep the SB2 is an overboard can, the only difference (which you may not have been around for) is at the release of the Rugged Razor 556, Rugged wasn't forth right in telling consumers that they were using their 7.62 Baffles similarly to how Surefire and other companies were. This was lead by a disingenuous campaign that its a "556" can (which I believe they just labeled it that because they knew it would sell better than Razor 762K). It was just disappointing that consumers had to figure this out instead of the company being forth right.
Can you shoot 223 out of it without issues? Also, the main thing that draws people toward this can is that Rugged says it can be used with any barrel length. Most suppressors that I’ve seen have a barrel minimum of 10.5.
I have 2 rugged suppressors and have had zero issues, seems more like your frustrated with it not working with your setup, you dident get your way and made a video to complain. Both of mine work perfect, no issues with the mounts on ARs, AKs, and bolt guns. In terms of the cost of mounts, rugged is on point with most competitors proprietary mounts. My Socom 556 can also has 30cal baffles and a 556 end cap for twice the price.
Even before I have my lightbar on it was not getting over to its fully seated position, there are other videos on here and forums talking about a similar problem where people thing they gave it fully seated, but its actually not (goes back to what I said in the video that their go/no go system is not really user friendly) Id try and put it on fully then use a oil filter wrench and see if you can get it tighter to see if its actually been seating all the way!
Damn! I bought this can 2 1/2 months ago. You didn’t mention a single good thing about it. I also bought the Alaskan 360 and according to Juju’s custom shop, the Silencerco 36m is a little bit quieter. Their ad got me. Oh well, lesson learned. The good thing is their warranty is really good.
@@artgali9453 The alaskan seems pretty cool. But one good thing is rugged did say that they would still warranty my can even though I got it cut for keymo (hub threading). Hopefully this video just enables people to make a more informed choice when buying the rugged razor 556, with a perspective that no one else is putting out.
@@artgali9453 Same here lol. a Razor 556 and Alaskan 360 that hopefully clears in the next few months. While he is mentioning negatives about the 556, at the end of the day its a can that works decently and is durable. Once you have it in hand and maybe on a dedicated host, you won't care THAT much as there is still a huge difference between unsuppressed and the razor 556.
@artgali9453 believe me you will be more than happy with the Razor 5.56. I have a lot of cans for 5.56 and its one of the better ones. This guy was running unnecessary accessories and trying to use it for the wrong type of application then was using vise grpis on parts ect. Just use a little common sense and you will be fine
@@codyjean6213 I still haven't found anyone with a 30 cal upper with a keymo muzzle device. Once I get my hands on one im blasting rounds through it and will post a video.

I'm interested to see if it fires the 6mm arc without a problem.
I agree with everything you said in the video except the mounting issues. That’s 100% a you issue lol.
Totally a "you" issue. I have the 556, 762, Alaskan and YHM FartCat both on RUM mounts, no issues whatsoever,.
I love mine.
Agree
It seems the mount just doesn't work for you for your set up. I dont have problems with mine but i always don't have a light bar.

I’ll send you my noveske 10.5 blackout upper but how would you mount it? Do you have a muzzle break for your keymo that will run on a .300?
Does it have a keymo muzzle device?
Why not get the 3 prong FH end cap to help with the flash???
I answered that in the video amigo!
@@shadezactual2657 my bad
What is better for the money?
OCL Polonium or YHM T2 best bang for buck, for little extra RC2 (or mini) and HuxWrx Flow 556k.
Bro….you should just be the CEO of rugged.
I love mine, and my Alaskan 360.
the alaskan 360 is nice, id get an oculus, just not a "556" Razor
Love mine, can’t satisfy the gun community it seems
