WOW. There is not much metal left where you drilled out the holes. Im pretty sure the integrity of that steel has been compromised. When you purchase direct fit, I think we will all agree, you should not have to drill or fabricate Anything. Otherwise, good job on the video. Best of luck !
I don't get why you had to do that with the bracket unless you got the wrong one, cuz when I helped a friend install A4 seats, C5 bracket that he got for the seats was a direct fit. The only thing we had to do is add washers.
There were 2 reasons. On the driver side we had to do this because we were adding the mounts for the 5 point harness so we had to use bolt extenders which were larger than the existing holes. On the passenger side I don't know why we had to do it since the rails said they were for a c5 corvette but they were just a little bit off so we had to enlarge the holes just a bit to get them to fit over the stock bolts

Yes they are.
They are not, the bracket wright's 12.5 lbs and the a4 weights 26. Combined, this weighs more than a power factory seat.
