I’m warm toned. I don’t like to wear a lot of makeup either. I naturally have some red patches on my face at all times. We need more warm toned skin for these wig reviews so thank you for stepping up. Also, if you haven’t tried root beer float color, it’s also too silver for us warm toned folks
You are right. You will never hear anything negative about a wig from the big reviewers. I have trichotillomania, and one night back toward the end of July, I pulled out way too much hair, so I then just pulled out the rest of it- and was TOTALLY bald on the top of my head and needed one IMMEDIATELY. I was horrified about wearing a wig! Iwent to the only wig shop in town that would see me that same day, which was also an upscale hair salon and spa, and I got TOTALLY ripped off- paid $1700 for TWO regular synthetic wigs that I now know should have cost about $1000 for both- MAX! He gave me fancy caps with all bells and whistles, at least, but still. I didn’t know any better, I thought that’s what wigs cost! I spent two days in bed, totally depressed about what I’d done to my hair. My hair was always well maintained and I spent a LOT of money on it. Now I had NONE on the top. Like a clown shape! About a week later, I then went to the other wig shop in town, met the nice lady, I showed her the wigs I bought at the other place and she told me the two wigs I bought would retail for $500 each, so at least I know that. It didn’t take long, and I began to LOVE wigs! I caught the wig bug, started ordering online like crazy! But, I didn’t read the return policies very well! I ordered from Patties Pearls, and Wigstudio1. Now all I’m doing is sending wigs back and forth through UPS! No more, unless returns are free, or if I only have to pay return shipping. I’m fortunate to have a wig shop in my town, called “Lynne’s Wig Boutique”, in Bethlehem, PA., and she sells her wigs at reasonable prices. No, not as cheap as online, but to me, it’s worth it for the service she provides, she will trim them, etc.., and for the stress-free wig shopping, and not constantly having to return wigs and pay all these fees. She knows what I like, and what will look good on me. I might love a certain wig, but so far the ones I picked on my own have ended up being all wrong for me! 😳 I was so obsessed, I bought so many wigs, on my credit cards, no less! Now I have all these charges on my cards, no new wigs from online to wear, and about three more “exchanges” on the way, which will most likely have to be returned, too! I love your channel, because you are a real person, not a wig shop robot, reviewing wigs. And you know, maybe I just will start a channel, too, for all the short, large, round faced people out there!
I’d gladly pay a little extra to see the colors in person and try them on! It would cost less in the long run for me! And a professional to trim them! That’s great you have this shop. There’s nothing like this near me. I went to a few nice hairstylist salons to find someone to trim my toppers- the stares I got! No, they wouldn’t touch them!

The salon I got my first wigs at, the rip-off place, charges $171 to cut/trim/style a wig. You read that right- $171! That is just outrageous! 😡 I know I still have much to learn. Right now I found a wig I love, and will wear for the fall, so I have time. The wig lady ordered some for me to try, too. I bought two of the one I love, so it lasts a while.
Ask if she’ll honor the online 30% discount. That’s what mine does. And I’d I buy a wig there she’ll modify it free of charge. Once these people know they have your business they’ll always give the hookup…they should anyways. It’s nice to buy online but going in person is my favorite.

I think I'll try to turn Ella into a curly bob. She is very long on me. See how it turns out.
Lol, you do not need Botox you’re very pretty and look like your in your 20’s. I love Alexis, I want her in Malibu blonde but haven’t purchased her yet because of the price. I’m warm toned as well and don’t feel I can pull off PSB, although I love it on other people, but I’m pretty sure it would totally wash me out. I truly think she’s beautiful on you tho.
I recently shaved my head because my hair was too damaged. I don’t like that look on me (but I think it looks amazing on others). I know NOTHING about wigs lol. But I would like to buy a wig to wear until I have a pixie. I just subscribed because you seem so real and authentic! I am cool toned skin and white blond ashy short hair looks good on me. I like a bit of an edge also. I am looking for human hair, about 200$. I will be looking through your vids for inspiration! ♥️
You can probably find a used human hair wig for $200. But not brand new unless it’s poor quality or perhaps one that’s unprocessed black hair. Possibly. Let me know what you find!
Your honesty is so much appreciated! For real! You don't sugar coat and it's frustrating when I've seen some reviewers go on and on about how great a wig is, when it's not. I made a huge mistake one time buying a wig that was so hyped and raved about and it ended up being donated. You don't look as bad as you think you do in this color. I am straight up as can be and I'll tell you that if you are out on date night in this wig and color, you are going to look great. Just be open minded about what makeup and outfit you wear when wearing this color. I'm sad to hear Alexis is discontinued. What a bummer! She was on my wishlist. Thanks for all you do! Blessings! 💗

I call this color, "albino blonde". Its way too light. Washes out alot of ppl. I am cool toned myself, but the best wig color that looks the best on me is a medium golden blonde. Or a dark golden blonde even. Ash colors look very bad on me and im cool toned. But my eyecolor is dark green and gold, so golden warm hair complements my eyecolor very well. So eyecolor plays a big part in what haircolors/tones look best on a person. 🤗
I don’t care for wigstudio1 also. I made a comment I thought it was rude how my Dr. asked me if I was wearing a wig. All I said is I could have said something rude back to her but didn’t. They wrote to me & said they would not allow my comment unless I removed that part. I didn’t remove it and decided that it was fine not to post anything from me. All you see on there is pictures of people showing their wigs, and everyone tells them how great they look.. They don’t always look great, because we all don’t look great in every wig. I can’t believe they have discontinued Alexis when it is one of Jon Renau’s best wigs. I think this color looks good on you, but I think the darker looks better. That would be the same for me also. I can’t wear that color.
