all this stuff with this upcoming dlc seems sooooo good. it really fleshes out this game and provides for way more roleplaying whatever countries you choose. really looking forward to jumping back in!

Countries like Greece in Victoria 2 had the advantage to create crisis in certain states and with the help of the great powers to make demands to release states. Will this ever be possible to minor states to help them grow?
A diplo-play is a just a more sophisticated crisis system
You can already do that with Diplo plays. We do need larger crises tho for greater issues.
How static the balkans are is the dumbest/most boring part of the game, especially given how weak the Ottomans usually end up

2:06 Please make it so that if your overlord has a rebellion that isolates their market at least the subjects automatically get their own separate markets. This is one of the main reasons I avoid bieng in a custom union in the late game. Seriously having all my provinces isolated from one another because my austrian senior partner lost access to their ports to a rebellion is so frustrating.
What you are saying doesn't make sense. Even if you are isolated you can still import and export. Market isolation just means you aren't able to make a connection to your overlord. A market without the overlord makes no sense.
@@LaFonteCheVi I don't know if they fixed it but I remember very vividly this happening to me multiple times. My overlord/senior in custom union would have a rebellion that took the capital or the coastline and the overlord became isolated, which ok is fair I guess but the problem was that I and the rest of his subjects became isolated too, like our provinces could only consume what they produced.
It was so dumb and a radical printing machine as well as a real danger to make you go bankrupt and made me avoid custom unions like a pest. I don't know if this is already fixed but if it isn't making the subjects into their own market while this happens makes much more sense than destroying their economy because their provinces are isolated for a year.
Of course it would be better if just the overlord is out of the market while the rebellion occupies the ports/capital or even make the rebels part of the market anyway just unable to trade with the country they are trying to overthrow or something like that but that sounds too hard to do and they already make a mechanic to make juniors have their own market so doing what I said should be easy.
Loving all of it V3 has so much potential w/ more specific country journal entries as all this UI becomes more fleshed out 💯 great work
some kind of parliament and political system is all i ask for please (stuff added in the dlc is still a good step in the right direction tho)

I made the Philippines into a great power by puppeting lots of small nations + a few rng where for some reason, GB went to war twice, requested help from spain twice, and in turn got India and NSW, then Spain got into a war, and helped them by taking NSW, and then helped GB in a war and took Western Australia from them. I wonder how this changes my go to meta.

We have some performance improvements coming with the update that from our tests look to be a decent improvement, however it will vary machine to machine.

I already could imagine mods doing things like "build up specific industry" lobbies and foreign coubtries laws lobbies (like anti-slavery lobby that would want you to enforce tha ban of slavery on everyone)

Interesting mechanics but I think they should have focused first on the military section before the economic and political section since it is the biggest limiter that the game has since it does not allow you to form strategies and the game ends up being the one with the most soldiers and peasants wins.

I wonder if lobbies can be made around just a general idea, like a pacifism lobby or pro-war lobby.
In the lobbies dev diary we were sent a lot of suggestions for different lobbies, but also want to expand the system more in the future to quote: "The entire system of forming, appeasing and applying mechanical effects from lobbies is completely moddable, and we definitely intend to use this system to create new and interesting types of lobbies in future updates!"

You should bring new products for nations to produce and sell. Like sugar, chocolate, paper, plastic, spicy, types of fruits, water, etc. It would improve the game a lot.
Sugar, paper, fruits are already in the game. Plastics arent really modeled because there werent many around in this era

Slowly getting towards a state in which the game should have released. Another paradox title released way too early.
It wasn't released too early, just the vision was completly broken, and devs are enritely to blame for that.
