As someone who used to play a lot of Mage and is really curious about Mage the Awakening, it is hard to explain how useful and intersting your videos are. Thank you.
Some time in the future we'll be doing a several episode run on the antagonists, groups, neat places, and stuff of Awakening. Just not sure when. -Terry
@@groupvucic2235 I have! I ran a 3 shot "intro to WoD" with the gimmick of people either playing themselves or playing an inside joke from our hometown. I managed to tie in a bunch if inside jokes and references that we all got. I'm not sure if I wrote this correctly im very tired, but I wanted to reply before I forgot
30:55 - Besides Platonism and Gnosticism, it also borrows from Hermeticism. With the core idea of remembering that you are god being expressed in Awakening -> Threshold -> Ascension.
I’ll definitely be using awakening to run the mages in the background of our game but will be borrowing heavily from ascension with the technocracy and stuff concerning the deep umbra
Sounds like you’ve got a solid plan-mixing Awakening for your mages with a bit of Ascension’s Technocracy and Deep Umbra madness. Best of both worlds, really. Those Watchtowers and Legacies are good for stirring up the occult. Glad you enjoyed the Occultists Anonymous episode, too.

This was a good episode, I would love to see another one related to Awakening
This is a good primer. I wish I would have listened to it like a year ago.
This was a great help, please take a belated thank you from me. I plan to try and run MtAw in the near future
So? Have you run mtaw?
