- I shoot a roll of the much-liked Kodak Portra 800.
For this one I stay in my neighborhood from afternoon to night shooting hand held with the Leica M2.

Thanks for watching!
Some outstanding photos in there for sure.👍❤️
Dude how have you not blown up yet? These are amazing!
Haha, Thanks man! Just doin my thing! :)
very cool
Thanks from Andrew to Andrew!
Great commentary about shooting in your neighbourhood. It is sometimes not as inspiring walking around the same streets, but I agree you have to persist, go out at different times of the day...there will always be something "new" happening. Keep up the great work!
Thanks Shane!
Love it as always. I like how well the video matches the film shots!
Thanks man! Trying to get my davinci resolve chops up! :)
Well done on that intro!
Really nice collection of shots too. Particular fan of 5:49, with its combination of different lighting and colours
Ah thanks Norbi! I wish I made a BTS of that intro shoot, I had some crazy ideas that never made it in, but I'm happy how it turned out! Yeah that street shot is a lucky one. Such an interesting area, every thing is surrounded by temples and graveyards, It's got a real quiet, strange vibe and I think that shot kinda captured it.
Nice video, music and shots, as usual. If you are a home developer, stick with Portra 800. Lomo 800 is a nightmare to home develop every step of the way. The streaking, and especially the curling, is maddening. Results are decent but inconsistent. Lomo 800 is an inferior product with many flaws, AND IT'S NOT INEXPENSIVE EITHER. At least that's my experience, and would be interested in hearing from other home developers. Shooting different film stocks to support Lomography is a commendable endeavor, but they need to deliver a quality product. Beware, home - developing hipsters... There is a reason professional films like Portra 800 are more expensive - quaity and consistency. I apologize for the Lomo 800 rant here but I shot it after your Lomo 800 one roll review. Thanks again for the reviews.
Hey thanks for the info Richard! I do not home develop at this time, I would love to in the future when space and family conditions allow for it :).
I agree about the level of both films when it comes to quality. I think the Portra is much more consistent to shoot. Lomo is a little bit more wild at times. And I have had issues with light leaks on 120 but not as bad as I've seen online. The prices around here are pretty high for Kodak. One roll of Portra 800 35mm is 2,400 yen currently at Yodobashi, where a three pack of Lomogoraphy is 2,300 at the same store. Anyway I'm sorry about your experience, but I'm happy you tried it out and thanks again for watching!
@@CLOCKCOUNTRY BTW, I shot 120 in a Pentax 67ii.
Beautiful, are these shot at box speed? Or 400?
Thanks! I shoot everything at box speed.
cool video ! what lens did you use ?
Thanks! I have a summicron 50mm f2 on the Leica and a RF 24-105 f4 on a canon eos r to make the video.
