It's funny, in most games if you try fighting 3v1 in a cutscene to save the girl your character gets their ass beaten. In P3 it's the mobs that hear the boss music.
Even if I love Yukari, the interactions with the girls in Persona 3 are not as romantic in Persona 5 Royal, for example in Persona 5 Royal you have the Valentine date, your girlfriend gives you chocolate and hugs you and the White Day when Ren gives flowers to his girlfriend, but in Persona 3 you have the Christmas date and nothing happens, Makoto doesn't hug her, doesn't take her hand, nothing. That's the only thing I'm a little disappointed with Reload.
I mean, I understand the Valentines one not happening, but why couldn’t they give at least SOME emotion for the Christmas date? I mean, DUDE, you’re on an amazing date with the woman you love, take a chance for once!

Spoilers for The Answer which will be released for P3R later this year. The P3MC is "alive" for now. He gave up his soul to keep Nyx sealed. Nyx is unbeatable as it is literal death in the persona universe. Although in the books it is actually an alien from back during the dawn of life on earth. It's from that theory that the moon was another planet that smashed into earth and is now the moon. Anyways, the P3MC gave up his soul to act as a seal to keep Nyx contained permanently. Elizabeth is currently on a mission to find a way to free his soul from this seal without undoing this seal as he is basically in a state between life and death forever which is a fate Elizabeth doesn't want to accept because it's pretty damn messed up. This might be brought up in Persona 6 because it has been hinted at a ton in other games/spinoffs but we have been left in the dark still

@@ShadowOfMassDestruction A hug and a scene at the beach does not mean they have great chemistry. Just compare her scenes with Junpei or even Mitsuru and the difference in chemistry is crazy. As a ship it does not make much sense by just the game. Just looking at the storyline. And from what I have seen from polls/posts on here, and other social media it looks like most agrees. It is a ship that is there but compared to most of the ships in P3 you can almost say it is non existent.
