I absolutely LOVE this video, because it's the perfect balance between the comedic chaos between these two guys and the strong friendship (bromance?) between these two. As a viewer, sometimes I laugh at their friendship, such a funny duo, but I also felt emotional (be it happy or sad), because of the tragedies and the vulnerable moments they went through together.

Honestly, as a fan of both I would say they are surprisingly different, I mean similar concepts but execution wise very different, highly recommend it if you haven’t watched it yet. Plus this show has been planed for ages (like since the filming of season 2 or 3 of doom patrol, can’t remember exactly), so tragically I think Netflix was just being Netflix with Lockwood & Co, pure tragedy with that one, though hopefully we can save this one before the horrors of cancellation.

@@clairewoods1858 Sorry to randomly jump in a month later but I first heard of Lockwood and co because of people comparing these two shows and being a bit upset at DBD because L&C got cancelled. As someone who adored DBD and isn't very fond of fandom rivalries I was wary of trying L&C, but your comment actually made me curious enough to try it and really liked it so thanks! Completely agree that the vibes are so different between the two, the two shows have totally different things they are trying to be and I ended up liking them for pretty different reasons. Anyways, random passerby out!
@@clairewoods1858 I was hesitant to watch DBD after the cancellation of L&C. But having nothing else to watch and out of curiosity I gave it a try and I ended up being hooked. Totally agree on the two shows looking similar but actually being very different. As a whole I felt DBD was executed better. If we sadly never get a season 2 it’s comforting to know at least the stories in season 1 were all wrapped up without leaving any major cliffhangers or unsolved mysteries. Unlike L&C, which left a whole lot of mysteries that will never get solved because of Netflix’s cancellation and that’s why it pisses me off so much!😡
