Also love the fact that you added “citations” for in-game items for all the claims you made! Really going above and beyond for it. I wonder how a “in game item” APA Citation works 😂😂😂
Haha YES!! I need guidelines on how citations work in lore videos! 😂
@@kitetales Its a bit of a mix of citing for chapter title/dictionary and video game, but here is what I suggest: Lastname, F. M. or Name of Group. (Year). Title of entry. In Title of software (Version No.). Publisher.
i can still appreciate the lore behind elden ring's magic even though i haven't cast a single sorcery spell in 140+ hours
270+ hours and Ive only done incantations.
Still interesting stuff.
Yeah me neither. Damn time to roll another build. 4th already.
You are doing such an incredible job demystifying the lore of this game. I'd love to see a video on the flame of frenzy, the lore around it is very interesting. Keep up the great work!
Well put.
Thank you so much!! :)
I've really enjoyed every single one of these Elden Ring lore videos. You've such a smooth and easy way of explaining each topic that's so engaging. It's like settling in for story time!
I'd really appreciate a video explaining Marika and Radagon and the whole end of the game, basically. Not the endings themselves, necessarily, but the whole premise you walk into at the end. Who everyone is, why they're there, and what the significance of each character is. I've yet to find a good video out there, and to have one done with your level of detail and manner of storytelling would be perfect!
Thank you so much for the feedback and for the topic suggestion! I've been kind of gathering things on the side to look at Marika and Radagon and think it is an extremely interesting and unique situation. Would love to take a shot at tackling that one!
honestly you've become my favourite lore channel for elden ring
Aww thank you so much! :)
Suggestion for the next lore video: incantations. Between the Order of the Two Fingers and the Frenzied Three Fingers and all the lore involving dragons and fortissax and dragoncult incantations… would work great on this format!
Oh yeah the incantations would be a huge video. I started looking into it and it's got so much history involved.
Gotta cover the Godslayer incantations too, the lore behind those are wild.
@@kitetales hopefully you can do a video on the Dragons, their lore is interesting in the sense of having an Elden lord (or equivalent) before the time of the Erdtree and that it’s stated that they had a Marika equivalent as well since a lord is a gods consort, also a video on giants plz.
As an attorney, adding citations to each of your assertions is so satisfying.
This could just be my personal bias on how I enjoy information delivery, but frankly, I found that I liked this vastly better than Vaati and many of the other renowned Souls lore RUclipsrs content (including their years of Souls content). I love all of them too, but this particular format just makes things so clear and is the best piece of Elden Ring lore content I've seen since the release of the game.
I love the bullet points, the reference pics, and I especially love the citations. Also, keeping the speculation separate from stuff found explicitly from sources (in yellow) really helps keep things very clear and is something I think many others have stumbled with. I also really just love hearing your speculation based on the information given. The relationship between the Crystalians and the CRF was something I hadn't even thought about, but the dots you connected were great. This is truly incredible work all around and deserves MANY more eyes.
I can't wait for more!
I have to agree with this. I love watching Vaati (and many other's) videos, but there is just something so much more directly engaging and informative about this presentation method. It is absolutely wonderful and immediately demonstrates how well researched the presentation is. I only found KiteTales' channel a few days ago, but the lore videos are so concise, so well made, so well researched that I feel she is quickly becoming the leader in Elden Ring lore delivery! Vaati videos might just begin to pale in comparison here.
We definitely need a video on ALL the kids and the whole damn family, and why each divine tower has a two fingers dead at the top of it. It implies that during the shattering each child shucked their respective two fingers, and the greater will, to get at eachother's throats. Make a video about the entire family and its inner battles and you can title it The Corrections.
Thank you so much for your incredibly kind and thoughtful feedback, I really appreciate it. I'm a visual learner and it helps me better understand chronological events if I can see them presented in a timeline, so I'm glad there are others out there that feel the same! :) And I'm so glad you liked the citations!! That's my perfectionist brain thinking "maybe this is too much" so I'm happy you appreciated them! :')
I'll add an interesting tidbit about the Eternal Cities and the Nox (that i honestly do not know how it fits with the rest, but its food for speculation): in-game files refer to the Nox NPCs and the Silver Tears as MarikaLineageMan, MarikaLineageWoman and MarikaLineageSlime
Very interesting. I don’t think it’s “the other way around” but from what I gleamed through some character interactions, Raya Lucaria was a departure on the studies that the Carian Family did and hence why it was established as a separate entity
Just further elaborating:
In my interpretation, all studies and magic knowledge used to happen within the Carian Manor and it’s royals but they were very limiting about the types of sorceries that could be studied. Other scholars, that looked into different types of sorceries were ousted and shunned, which led them to establish an alternate school of magic, spun off of Caria, the Raya Lucaria. Both coexisted until they came head to head as stated by the pope turtle, Iji and other artifacts
I think Raya Lucaria was established by the Stargazers from Mountaintops of Giants. They were probably driven away from Mountaintops because of Marika’s war, and the only other place where they could observe the stars was Liurnia. But it happens to be where the Carian Family is. So conflict was bound to happen with the divisions within the academy.
Really loving the long-form vid, I'd love to see more of these!
Thanks so much for the feedback! I was thinking it might be too long so I appreciate the feedback about that!
I discovered your shorter Elden Ring lore videos and enjoyed them a lot, but this was awesome. Going in-depth and exploring as much material as possible is great content for us lore nerds. Keep it up!
This is so great! I'm only just starting to dive into lore stuff now that my first playthrough is over, and you've been a great resource.
Now that you mentioned that you are a teacher, and after seeing the presentation style of this video, I felt like I've returned back to my college days. In the classroom, listening to my favorite lecturer. Just the right duration for a single lecture session too.
Haha. Good old days.
Perhaps my only problem is that I need to search online for the citations, since it's faster and I was too lazy to boot up Elden ring on my pc. Most of those texts I either hadn't read, or only read in the passing that I forgot afterall.
Interesting to note that the history of sorcery in elden ring pretty much revolves around the Carian family and Raya Lucaria academy. The only notable outlier being Rykard, as he barely got any mention despite being Rennala's son.
Also, there was a certain dragon that likes to eat sorcerers/ess, to the point it can cast sorcery (either that, or it learned sorcery after Ranni defeated it). Now it kinda just stand guard wherever Ranni goes, attacking everyone, including us, until we beat its arse.
Awww thank you so much, that's a huge compliment because it means I sound at least a little academic! :) Oh you have to check out the Elden Ring wiki if you haven't seen this yet; you can pull up any item in the search and it'll give you the details on it! Makes it so much easier than having to pull it up in game! eldenring.wiki.fextralife.com/
Such passionate and thorough lore research! I feel like I'm sitting and listening to a dissertation in Raya Lucaria's library. So fun, great work
Really awesome. The effort you put into understanding the lore adds so much value to playing it for the rest of us.
Love the way you’ve cited this this video and carefully kept track of what is directly said, what is speculation, and what you don’t know.
I've loved Lore videos for Souls games for years, and yours is the first one I like for Elden Ring lore! Love all the work that goes into finding evidence and drawing conclusions! A lot of channels now are just making videos about common lore theories/merely reading item descriptions, but you're really doing the legwork!
This is the best lore channel for ER I've come across. All the work is much appreciated 👑
Brilliant!! Please continue this series. There are such beautiful stories and the lore is so tragic and deep and sooo compelling. Dont stop. I beg you.
I love all your Elden Ring videos! Also you have a great voice for this line of work!
Thank you so much! :)
What a fantastic video and lead to my subscription. Would definitely be all about more timeline lore essays with a deep dive into faith and general story. Fantastic narration also. Keep it up!
Thanks for touching upon lore that hasn't been talked about much yet within the community. I was struggling to piece much of the info together myself and this video helped out a ton. Thanks! :D
I'm so glad, thank you! :) Yeah the history just seemed to complicated that I had to visually lay it out.
Loved this! I have completely embraced the glass canon mage playstyle, and you really added even more flavor to the game with this video. I've greatly enjoyed all the Elden Ring lore videos you've put out!
Thank you so much!! 😊 Oh I 100% agree with you about the glass mage. In games like this I like to handle as many tough enemies as I can from a distance and it’s just the perfect class to sit up on a roof and pebble them to death so it’s safe to come down 🤣
These videos are great thank you so much for putting the work in and helping figure this game out!
Not gonna lie, your voice is so relaxing and since I'm going to sleep and just saw you upload the video I couldn't stop myself. It was like a very informative ASMR xD kinda wish u had an ASMR channel now jaja Nice video, I'm sooo hype for the DLC to be honest
Haha I love hearing that, thank you!! :)
Didn't expect such a long video but it's a pleasant surprise! Looking forward to more lore whatever the topic/format
Thank you! It definitely won't be a regular thing but just wanted to share what I put together in case it'd be interesting to anyone who was looking into it!
I love your lore videos so much. Keep doing an awesome job!
Absolutely incredible video. This has to be the best lore video on ER I’ve ever seen and has made you my favorite ER creator on RUclips!
Just how logical you are, how cleanly this was laid out, how structured and organized, all the effort. And you’re WAY too humble about it too! 10/10 Queen.
Awww you are so sweet, thank you so much for your incredibly kind comment, I really appreciate you taking the time to leave that. 🥰 This was such a fun video to do so I’m so happy you enjoyed it!
This was amazing! Thank you so much for this!
I was just checking out Elden Ring lore out of curiosity since it came out in my For You Page in Tiktok, and I really like how you do these summaries.
You have a wonderful storytelling tone, I really love how you do these 🥺 An instant favorite! 😊✨
I've watched all of the ones you've posted so far they are amazing and perfect and I'm going to be honest....I'm addicted!
Thank you so much!! That’s my favorite kind of feedback! 🥰
You put a lot of work and time into all of this! Fantastic! Looking forward to more!
Thank you so much!! :)
You are a true gem how you take your time to piece everything together is just insane and makes 200% alot.of sense. Thank you and I appreciate you more and more for making these videos. I just finished eldenring today and what a blast I had definitely one of my favorite games of all time.
Thank you so much for the lovely comment and kind feedback, I really appreciate it! :) Congratulations on finishing it!!
Great job on this video! Very comprehensive breakdown, and your voice is such a joy to listen to! Looking forward to anything else you might have in the works. 🙂
Thank you so much! :)
I just found your channel and I can't stop listening to these videos. Your content is very well done and I could probably listen to you talk 24/7 lmao, essentially you are putting out amazing content and your voice and the way you present this information is perfect, don't stop!
Thank you so much, you’re very sweet!! 😊
@@kitetales you're welcome!
your lore vids are amazing, good work on good sourcing and getting it out so early (:
keep it up
Omg just found you videos and I love em! Thank you so much! This is the stuff about video games that I love looking into and learning about and your videos are so thorough!
This is absolutely staggering work, incredible job! I remember seeing one of your earliest Elden Ring videos and thinking "wow, this is pretty good for an early lore video, I'll subscribe because I imagine future videos will be good" but this is exceptional and so well presented too!
You're putting out a lot of great stuff and very fast, kudos and I look forward to more!
Thank you so much!! :) I'm working on a family tree video now, so that should hopefully be a little more exciting than sorcery!
Such a good lore video. I've already watched it a bunch of times. This is a great channel. Thanks for the content!
Thank you so much!! :)
I was surprised at how well prepared and executed this video was. Nice!
Thank you! I was an overachiever in school, some things are hard to shake. :)
really awesome video! thank you so much for putting it together!
Thanks so much for watching!
ty for this! you've got one of those
voices I could listen to for hours tbh. pls do more of these when you can. ☺️
Aww thank you so much!!
This is awesome
The other sorceries and systems of magic are definitely worth looking into as well
I hope you make more because I'm quite impressed
Again, absolutely amazing narration! But on top of that, your visual representation of the Timeline and display of key information especially with the sources where you got eh information from? That is just so professional and exactly what we need more of, absolutely outstanding work and can't wait for more!!!
Thank you so much for the wonderful feedback!! Halfway through I thought "this is so over the top and nerdy" but screw it, that's what I love doing! :)
I will watch these videos indefinitely if you keep making them. Keep up the good work!
Thank you so much!! 🥰
Am really enjoying your video, hope you keep doing them and go deeper into the lore. Your voice is so smoothing and relaxing. 🙂
I really dig your presentation style, I feel like I’m watching a presentation at a conference on an emerging field in anthropology, its kind of exciting! Really makes me feel like I’m a part of a community of people with a very passionate mutual interest in a field of study
I very much appreciate your lore/theory and i appreciate the time and effort u put into these , very thorough and simple
I'm super excited to follow your investigative journey through the world of Elden Ring! Thank you for the level of consideration and effort you put into these videos!
Thank you so much for the kind feedback! :)
You go girl :) I've been suffering withdraws from VaatiVidya and you are doing exceptionally well.
Carian sorcerer: "NOOOO YOU HAVE TO DRAW POWER FROM THE MOON, ITS THE ONLY WAY!"
Glintstone sorcerer: "hehe shiny star go brrr"
The Alabaster : Rock goes brrr (spamming rock sling)
@@unknownbenefactor8029 Rock sling go boom (when it doesn’t accidentally explode on a wall or other piece of the environment lol)
Loving your videos as always, Kite!
Thank you so much! :)
Absolutely love these, you’re voice is perfect for this. Would love more!
Thank you so much for the feedback!! I know this definitely appeals more to certain types than others... so I appreciate being in that company! :)
This is amazing I really appreciate this love exploring the lore in games that I get into... Thank you so much :)
Really great video, very insightful timelines
All these contents are amazing! SUBSCRIBED!
Fantastic. Would love to see more, whichever direction your most interested in going.
I really enjoyed this, I wanted to add two interesting bits of lore that tie into several things that you theorized on.
(1)First is the Carian royal family apparently descended from astrologers which were the original glintstone sorcerers. it is not entirely explained but it's hinted at that their connection with the stars is so strong that they can see their fate through them, or even change it. General Radon is known as the conqueror of the stars and is apparently holding them back and keeping them from moving. Ronnie's Fate is there for sealed as she is part of the royal family and therefore her fate is tied to the stars, after you then defeat general Radon her fate can become uncertain (or perhaps changeable) allowing her to take fate into her own hands.
(2) Second is that Adula the dragon swore a nightly oath to Ronnie. and actually became a carian knight and even developed his own spell, Adula's moon blade, a version of their sword spells that an ice dragon can use.
I love this
Just when I was losing hope that no one in the comments had Extra info you pull through. Really cool lore.
Just to add to (1) i can't remember precisely where i've seen that, but it said that when the erdtree and the golden order established via the greater will, they where able to control even the stars if i remember correctly. This is where carian family loose much of their power, leaving place for the academy of raya lucaria to rise (their are hint that both was in conflict up to the point rennala enter the scene i think)
I can't recall where i've seen this, if anyone can confirm :)
Im so excited for all the lore and speculation out of this channel 🙌
Thank you so much! It's been so fun to work on!
Wooow i m in love with this and others lores videos thatt you make !! Amazing work ! I would love to see a video about godwin and the knifes.or about miquella, st trina and others. Congrats for the great work much luv !
Really enjoying the quality of your videos and how you present them as lessons at a university. Cudos
Haha it is like a university lesson!! I was thinking it felt so academic in the end!
I just came upon your channel. Your commentary and voice is so calming and refreshing for the dark and hopeless world of Elden Ring haha. It’s great though! I really enjoy your detailed and researched videos! The lore of Elden Ring will definitely be talked about for years to come.
Thank you so much!! :)
I hope you cover all the lore, could listen all day, really high quality and effort, plus a really nice voice, couldn't be better.
I love the way you tell stories with the lore etc. your voice is also very calm and soothing. Vaati is going to have some competition if you keep this up :) I would love to see all your storytime videos in one, long compilation, I would definitely watch it through a couple times at least.
You are a great teacher! The lore is complicated enough but you make it sooo much easier to understand
Awww thank you so much! :)
Amazing! you guys make great content.
This is seriously really cool, I was waiting for vaati before i started watching lore videos but im really glad i stumbled upon your channel, ive already binged 3 videos and each one was great. Please do more videos like this, especially on niche topics like this. You did a really great job with the research (you even have in game citations like holy shit) and you present the info really well, plus you have a nice soothing voice for this kind of thing as well. Seriously great fucking job, definitely earned my sub and ill be watching all the new lore content you create. You are appreciated
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such nice feedback, I really appreciate that. And I especially appreciate it on this video that gave me strong “I’m going too over the top” vibes when I was making it! 😆 I’ve been working on a similar kind of video regarding the demigod family tree so I’m hoping that’ll be a fun one to share! But yes thank you so much again for your lovely comment and encouragement. 🥰
a very good vid, this kinda helps fill in a lot of gaps but does open up a lot more.
On the subject of Crystalians, I think the subject of "cleave close to the ideals of the Primeval current" I think it meant that they were, in a way, the very ideals of the Primeval Current, Lusat and Azur are both covered in crystals due to them trying to reach the ideal. Perhaps the Crystalians are the ones that are actually there, the pure form of magic that sorcerer's desire. which maybe why they also taught the Magic Downpour spell to the Carian family. One has to wonder if they too could also see into the future, which is why they did what they did.
For all we know the Crystalians were the ones who taught the Carians the more refined spellcasting. hence why they became the ruling house.
Great thoughts about the Crystalians. I definitely think they have a much bigger/important role in the foundation of glintstone magic. They remain a mystery for now... maybe the DLC will expand on them a bit.
I love this stuff so much. You do so much research and present everything so clearly. Honestly living my dream! I'd love to be able to deep dive into things I obsess over and find every little thing.
Thank you so much!! :) I'm right there with you about the love of finding clues and piecing things together... it's really fun to see things come together!
start small and work your way up
try it yourself
Such a good video. Really connects the dots. Please do more
In my house, "New KiteTales and Flex just dropped" now means "Everyone pause what they're doing, we need to learn about the lands between immediately"
I love your house!!!
30 minutes of timelines and theories!!! Now I know what I'm doing lol. Keep up the good work 👏
If anything it'll be a nice precursor to a nap!
@@kitetales 😄😄😄
Hey, I think my friend wrote you too but we were inspired by some of your material and recently decided to try a podcast.
Just wanted to say thanks for the great content. If you ever have a free moment come check it out :)

Keep up the good work!
The amount of new content creators I’m finding thanks to this game is crazy. I love lore and history and it’s like lore Christmas right now.
Awww I'm so glad you're here then! :)
Wonderful video, loved it. Timelines will give the community a skeleton in order to refine our understanding of the lore, therefore this video is quite important.
Thank you so much!! I definitely hope it can establish some kind of rough outline for people to add to/correct as needed!
This isva topic I've been wanting ppl to cover so thanks 👏
Thank you! :)
Another excellent video, really impressed with the stuff you've been putting out recently!
Just as a quick aside, I really love how Fromsoftware wear their inspirations and loves on their sleeves, you can really tell that they - or at least Miyazaki - have a deep deep love for fantasy worlds and settings. Moving through the lands between reminds me so much of the experiences I've had with the fantasy stories that I have a deep love for, and that's just really cool to see.
Thank you so much! And yes you said it perfectly. They have this incredible ability to create a fantasy world that feels extremely lived in and alive and has history and doesn't need to pack it full of world NPCs to give it that feel.
Really nice work!
Great video! I learned a ton
Longer videos are a nice change of pace! Looking forward to more! :)
Thank you so much! :)
I love how clear and organized this video is, it feels like I just sat down for an Elden Ring lecture at a university or something haha.
I haven't delved too hard into sorcery since my first character is pure melee so I didn't realize how much lore was behind it. I love space and anything to do with the stars so seeing them tied so intrinsically into the magic system makes me want to start a sorcery build even more. Just gravity magic by itself is such a cool concept.
Part of me wants to say the Crystalians are aliens, or at least the living embodiment of the primeval current, but that might just be wishful thinking. The Carian and Crystalian sorceries having the same "seal" is interesting and it makes me wonder if the Carian royal family based their sorceries on the Crystalians and their nature.
This video gave me a lot of new questions and ideas and I love it!
Thank you so much! Wonderful video! I don’t have time putting things together like this because I have 6 kids so my play time is limited thank you again
Amazingly well done video. Keep up the good work!
Thank you so much! :)
The Nox crafted the Finger Slaying blade which was a weapon that was built to slay a god. I think that is why they were banished. I also believe that Radahn halted the stars in response to Ranni trying to access Nokron. I am pretty sure this is revealed by one of Sellen's dialogue lines prior to fighting Radahn. I feel like it is worth mentioning the falling star beasts, and maybe the Claymen, Stonediggers, and Alabaster Lords arrived in the lands between with the meteor, meaning they arrived as a species from the stars that now inhabit this land. I love the lore videos, and I can't wait for more like this!!!!!
Oh my gosh yes!! I didn't even put that together about the Nox and the Fingerslayer Blade-- that would totally be the reason for them to get banished, an act of treason! That is awesome, thanks so much for bringing that up. I love this community! :)
@@kitetales One thing I forgot to mention though is that Marika was looking for "a weapon to slay a god" as stated by Hewg. This however is particularly strange because when the Nox presented the Finger Slaying Blade, Marika banished them, turning their city upside down and sending it underground. I don't know why this happened but I don't think it was any sort of entrapment because Marika continued the request for a weapon to slay a god to Hewg. I have a feeling it may be some connection to Ranni and Godswyn and the Black Knives. Also, the Stonediggers, and Alabaster lords are all made of some kind of stone and have incredible power and quick mastery in sorcery so this is also more evidence for them coming from the meteor. The Falling Star Beasts are very obviously originated from space since you find them in craters. And also the obscurity of the bubble magic since it deviates from all other magic and seems to originate from the Claymen but I dont think they come from the stars anymore since their spirit ashes and sorcery descriptions tell a different story that indicates that the Claymen are the warped remains of preists from an ancient dynasty (only one that comes to mind is Mohgwyn's Dynasty but it doesnt make sense) and the Claymen's harpoons brandish meteorite tips (Sources: Oracle Bubble, Great Oracle Bubble, Claymen Ashes, and Clayman's Harpoon.) Sorry I forgot to mention that and for the information overload!
No it’s confusing bc their are no timelines to when events happened
But nokron and nookstella were pushed underground by the golden order establishing itself
Their is no history or mention that nokron and the golden order were ever on good terms. So it wasn’t that even that banished them.
The truth in the lands between life n death is that the ruling order is built on top of the true world
Really saying the lands between is not much different then calling us middle earth like Tolkien from Norse that calls us… migard- in the middle between underworld and Asgard
This story is a lot of retelling of ragnorak and many creation stories
In Greek or Norse we have titans or giants that fight a war with the gods who come from the giants or gods
There are so many connections
But miquella is a lot in the game
As he is the player/character or his soul is no matter what body you choose
This was amazing!
This should be called Intro to Sorcery 001A, incredible! Subbed
loving these!
Thank you sm for these videos
Thank you for watching!! :)
This channel feels like Psych2Go: Elden Ring edition. Your voice is so soothing! And man it never came to mind to think about a timeline for sorceries. This is so cool
Loved it, great job
Thanks so much!
People are out there claiming to explain the lore of the whole game and then you watch a video like this an realize that you can deep dive into just one slice of the games lore. Great video btw you got a sub.
Very well presented video. Takes me back to when ENB released his timeline video for DS1.
This is a brilliant channel, why have I only just found you?! 😱
Thx for this :) I look forward to ur story content like, all the time.
Since this is on the more speculative side, it would be interesting to see a video on the Numen people.
Some of the groups of people in game seem to have really interesting backgrounds. I'm especially curious about the Albinaurics.
@@kitetales Yeah. I showed up there one day just to get a certain item and the whole village is in ruin. Nepheli Loux was over there mourning - seems she was fighting alongside the losing side.
Love your videos~ so easy to interpret and palatable. Good stuff 🧡
Would love a numen origins theory video. So far the hieroglyphs seem to have a return to Eden sort of story. Where the Numen created alchemy and lived and died among the erd trees. Also points to what makes an empyrean as being born from the power of an erd tree? Still loose, but there seems to be a ton in the nox cities that set up the origins of Marikas people.
these are great! I'd love more of these, especially on scarlet rot!
Wonderfully done
Lu is probably a prefix of sorts, making Lucaria a conjoined word. Lu has a ton of entomology, so it really depends which they went with. I highly doubt it’s Latin because from what I found it would mean wash (danish was less lackluster but still didn’t make sense to me). Lu in Chinese can refer to land though, which would make a ton of sense.
Raya, the Land of Caria. This could imply Raya Lucaria isn’t just an academy but the administrative body for the lands ruled by the Carian family. We find Carian influences throughout the game, so we know they’re quite influential.
It makes the most sense to me out of all the entomology I read through.
I like this explanation! Set up as a governing body for the entire area, maybe a checks and balance between the Carian family. That's great, thank you for sharing your thoughts on it. I like this explanation!
This was a great video on sorceries in this game! I’ve been increasingly interested in the Crystallians and this is the first lore video that I’ve come across that mentions them. They’re very mysterious creatures but obviously linked to glintstone and sorceries. My thought is that all glintstone sorceries are somehow adaptations from the Crystallian’s sorceries and that they were the original creators of all sorceries. Glintstone is the closest and easiest adaptation, but then you see others (gravitation, Carian, Haima, primeval, etc). Two branches that you failed to cover, though, are the Rykard (flame/lava) sorceries and the death sorceries. Both of these are really interesting. I think I could fit Rykard into the timeline (which I think you got mostly right) pretty well, but I’m not sure where the death sorceries might come in. Especially the “prince of death”. Who actually was he?
Please do more of these longer form videos, it is god tier
Thank you so much!! I'm actually working on one right now for later this week! :)
