It all comes down to experience and how it’s put together. Trust me though, expect to get charged the full 8 even if your mechanic can do it in 2. Not fair mechanics gather all this information, skill, and learn tricks to make jobs faster….but the customer benefits from that. Best believe if I can do a book job in 2 that takes 8 I’m on to the next EVAP core and ready to bring home that 🥖
@@christopheremanski3276 Well the last time I had an EVAP core done on a car it took them 3 days to get it done, so I guess the 8 hours book time evens it out. Lol

So is this actually even close to the 8 hours book time that mechanics charge you? It looks like it could be if you don't know what you're doing.
I would say 1 to 2 hours max. If you have the tools and help
