OMG is Oscar actually annoyed? This is so funny! Even season 7 of the Office can bring out genuine chuckles! Have we arrived at your favorite S7 episode yet?!
Dwight and Pam's friendship has been brewing for years. He's done other nice things for Pam as well as Jim, and they both have done nice things for Dwight.
@thedernboy I think their friendship honestly started when Dwight got his concussion. I know he was out of character being nice to her at the time, but there have been little things here and there that show their friendship such as Pam keeping Dwight and Angela's relationship a secret (even from Jim) and Dwight making Pam his secret assistant to the regional manager when he thought he was taking Michael's job at the end of season 3. There's plenty of other small examples but they both clearly have a soft spot for each other
@@thedernboyyeah I tend to think it was the concussion. I’m assuming he could remember afterward? But I also kinda feel like maybe it even started before the start of the docu series. 🧐 for example, during the fire ep we see they go over to try to cheer him up… I realize they were just playing with him, but still the feeling is that they’ve had conversations like that with him before, or at least are close enough to have one by that point 🤷🏻♀️ if that makes sense lol
China episode!! 🤩This episode is very memorable for me because it challenged how I saw my ancestral culture, which is Chinese. The developments of 2011 made me realize that non-American countries are not always that backward, and America is not always that forward. But, despite the global complexities, America is still a great country that the world gravitates towards. This was also a great Oscar episode. We see how he's an intellectual but also gives into petty streaks. Lastly, it's pretty grim that the nicest thing Dwight has done on the show is to stop a nightmare that he created. 🤦♀
Speaking about pigeons. I was once on the lax shuttle bus to get to work. I saw 3 pigeons, one of them notice a puddle of water and I saw other two pigeons approaching, all pigeony bopping their heads and looking around, and I created this whole beef scenario in my head. Right after I finished this scenario in my head, it actually kinda played out like my imagination and I just started laughing so hard. I remember people looking at my like WTF. I tried explaining it to a buddy next to me, but it was just in the moment thing. It cracks me up now typing this. 😂😂😂
I used to be the Oscar type figure in my last office job. I was mostly playfully teased about it, so I THINK they liked me, but I did interject with facts all the time.
That legit used to happen to me pre-Covid when I was still going into an office. We had flexible hours and I liked being able to be home pretty early, so I'd go in at 6:30 most days, and it was kind of peaceful being the only one in the office and getting to poop on the clock. But it also meant that there was no one else coming into the bathroom to activate the motion sensor. Cell phones having flashlights is a technological advancement that I came to appreciate quite a bit during those years.
Proof of an Office/40-Year-Old Virgin metaverse: Andy: What do you know about boobs? Michael: ***stares blankly and sheepishly thinking “they feel like a bag of sand…?***
I always found it odd in this episode that the building owner supplies the toilet paper and pays the power bill apparently. Why would the building owner care about saving money on the power bill if they're not the tenant?
Pam's "give up streak" annoys me. She is always a cry baby when she doesn't hit instant success. Sometimes things are just difficult, she acts like if she fails once then it's all over. Michael once said that she doesn't always follow through and that's tha absolute truth.
I thought for a sec Chris was going to kill Suraj, that death stare 😂 Dwight’s balls were cooked to medium rare 🤣 This episode didn’t age well. China is on a rapid decline. Lots of companies are moving manufacturing to India Vietnam and SE Asia.
India has great customer service staff! Everything I was concerned about got attended to, the call was dealt with clearly and concisely, professionally. Nobody tried to scam me or talked gibberish- Said Nobody, Ever!

When do you think they officially became friends?!

@@thedernboy In my opinion Dwight considered Pam a friend way back when he got concussed hitting that pole in his car
But Pam didn't even know who Dwight was. She was just walking with her groceries

I’m surprised people once thought that America was the undisputed best, even as an American who doesn’t hate the country

I like when second Pam says "Ive been known to bend the truth 😝"
as a new yorker, Suraj gives off that NY vibe
