Example - 2: • 2. Bayesian Belief Ne...
You have a new burglar alarm installed at home.
It is fairly reliable at detecting burglary, but also sometimes responds to minor earthquakes.
You have two neighbors, John and Merry, who promised to call you at work when they hear the alarm.
John always calls when he hears the alarm, but sometimes confuses the telephone ringing with the alarm and calls too.
Merry likes loud music and sometimes misses the alarm.
Given the evidence of who has or has not called, we would like to estimate the probability of a burglary.

I had no idea what my prof was talking about. You made it seem very simple. If anyone is reading this two hours before, the midterm, this video is gonna do the job for you!

Sir, since we calculated p(a) , I think we can calculate p(not a) =1-p(a). We can avoid that long operation for p(not a).
sir you have a nice sense of humor

How P(A/B',E') is 0.999 as already in question it is given when B and E both are false Probabilty is 0.001.
probability of both.. is .001
Yooo man, you saved my asss, man, respekt and uwaguha
Good work...Could you please help me to understand how can I compute P(A\B,E) in details?
they are given in the question
Its 0.95 which is given in the question
Thanks sir. We need more
This video was very helpful! Thanks a lot!

Any explanation on how the Alarm probabilities were calculated sir?
Thank you for your response. However, my lecture asked us to calculate those probabilities for bonus marks.

Sir are u considering the p(B)=0.001 and P(E)=0.002 or it is given in the question.

Good job.. Last moment preparation for exam 😉
ah yes
sir, how did u calculate p(A/B,E) , p(J/A) and P(M/A) values??
It will be given to us
Yeah, I got the question without that probability. It is just written P(A|B,C) without number. Should I use random number??
@@stone6326 nope bro the value is given in the table below the word buglary

Bro?Did you find answer?

what if P(E) depends on some other node which is like D is connected to E just like how alarm is connected to earthquake
Is Bayesian Belief Network and Bayesian Neural Network same?
Sir kocham casual network problem nadathuga .Next week exam kocham sekarama poduga
Sir I didn’t understand how to calculate the green part , can you please explain
Hey hi. For ex: P(a|b,e) * P(b,e) is alarm is true when b and e is true so 0.95. Then P(b,e) is P(b) * P(e) so 0.001 * 0.002. Final answer is 0.95 * 0.001*0.002 = 0.0000019. Like this with the help of probability table enter the values and calculate. The main thing is the logic. If u understand it then congrats!!
@@mindsoulvalley1900 the answer did not add up to 0.00252??? are u sure about this method?
