Well, Damien, there's 21 tracks here in this Phonographs Album, Laid bare in just 3 hours, returning the following week-end, for a further 6 hours to overdub the Lyrics, in a smooth transition, one after the other with only a couple of minite errors. (But after a tremendous amount of rehersals and note taking from the original recording session,) so 6 hours was assigned for a relaxed timeframe, to ellimate the plectrum flickering sound that the Dynamic vocal mic picked up, and bled into the orignal session. Also, to then lay down three additional tracks from scratch, with a few crafty GV smokes and a coffee break with set honey as my singing voice was burning somewhat after take after take after solo take. Pretty Magically impressive, considering! I've never overdubbed a track in my whole career as a Musician and i've been recording my Music since the very early 1980's!!! However, the Professionalism of AL., was exceptional as a very experienced recording producer and sound engineer at Creao Studios, currently based in Harrogate. I should also mention that The Flaming Mustards originated, whilst I lived (resided) in Finland, 2002-2006, as a Fine Artist and Painter, Lover and Friend with assigned SISU, and picked up my old London Marque guitar, bought for me in Wakefield Market, UK, by my then Finnish/Swedish Girlfriend, when we both Studied at Bretton Hall College, in the Fine Arts. So, as I waited for a series of my Paintings to dry in the Summer Night Sunlight in our apartment, I began alternative tuning to discover my soul, and to describe something the paint couldn't quite describe on canvas and/or paper. Thank you though, for your time to Listen and Hear the humdrum of a select, 25 years of tunes, crafted to the best of my abilities through broken heartedness, Loss, rejection, and most importantly unrequited Love. Peace Bro, Let's do the Ruby-Red pints very soon with riders of those rare Celtic Cask Whiskeys we both share an admiration for!! ;) Happy Christmas and may 2025 be the year we both break through to the otherside of this Musical Odessium! :) d.
