marvellous... it was a good day. I put a small bet on one of the favourites and then rather cleverly put an each way on one of the outsiders, giving me ensured interest in the whole of the race, come what may. After 3 fences my fav was leading the race. Everything was going to plan. It then fell at the fourth... bringing down my my other horse. The end.
The very edge of credulity - so, a llama grazing nearby broke onto the racetrack and beat all the horses to the finish line? Was that the edge or just over?
Do you write these the morning you get the papers? I can't think of a way you could have written them beforehand. Even if these weren't written in such a short time frame, they would be impressive. Keep up the good work.
Ha. I misunderstood. When you said he went home with his twelve thousand pound purchase, I thought, "That's pretty huge for a horse. He couldn't weigh more than twelve hundred pounds, surely."
Post-race bets are the best. Why does no one ever get enthusiastic about them? They're missing out on some great fun. I love these Sunday Papers videos. They're always so witty and make me laugh. :)
Kevin Baker reminds me of a young Hugh Laurie. He's wonderful.
My thoughts exactly! Same mannerisms.
To me, he's more like Stephen Mangan!
Amazing! :) This makes me feels load better after hiding all my inadvertent horses from friends and family due to my shame.
So glad to see another video! Best way to start the month!
This reminds me of A Bit of Fry and Laurie with the dry humor and sarcasm
Love these every time. :D
If I wrote for these papers I would fear the judgement of John and Kevin every first Sunday of the month.
This is wonderful...

As wonderful as usual :D

Where is the edge of "credulity"? A cliff-hanger? Love the bit about being "crazily chucked" and the hamster! :D
That was funny and interesting all the way through, but the ending made me laugh for a good while.

Brilliant. And sassy.
Oh dear... :)
"... joined, of course, by the ghastly criminal neck."
The next episode had better be about what that hamster did.
