While I agree that you are giving an honest assessment of what you have unboxed, the company would not have sent you a bad pallet knowing that you would be unboxing it live. The only way to fairly review a company is for them to not know you are reviewing it online. This is especially true when a company sends free merchandise in exchange for a good review.
We're look for 100% authenticity. I can't found the amount of times I said "Jon, I want your honest review". We want to advertise what we sell accurately. It doesn't serve us to advertise the "good" and then sell "the bad". We're in the liquidation industry and specialize in customer returns. SMS lots general are clean, in the condition shown in this video.
@@Viatrading I'm seeing a strong pattern of people that are very concerned with the Reputation of "Flipping Ain't Easy" and feel that something feels "Off" ... HOWEVER, I am willing to give the benefit of the doubt to the product, and think most here would as well.
Here's what I see:
A). VIA is legit and this is a solid representation ... which will bring a lot of people your way. Some will understand the Liquidation Selling Game and prosper, and others won't ... but if you are good, J+J will stick with you and explain how to make the system work.
OR
B). This is a 'plant' and there are going to be SOOOOOOOOOO many bad reviews that it is almost impossible to recover.
The sword of marketing through YT Unboxings is dual edged and very sharp ... and should be used with equal parts fear of the blade and confidence in the blade.
I think everyone is hoping for the best, but preparing for the worst ... So I'm crossing my fingers VIA is the company it CAN be, and knocks it out of the park.
@@Viatrading"It doesn't serve us to advertise the "good" and then sell "the bad". I watched one of your videos on Amazon clothing "shelf pulls". I bought a pallet of 500 items. Over 200 pieces were in Amazon returns plastic bags. As an example a pair of women's jeans had been washed so many times the ink on the tags was worn off. Needless to say I have not bought again nor will I ever buy again.
@@danielbeard9567 Thanks for the info. Did you discuss this with your account manager. We sell merchandise the way we receive it. Shelf Pulls can include a % of returns in their due to human error but if there are any great discrepancies from what we advertise we will rectify it. We're in this for the long haul and have been in business for 20 years. We're not going anywhere.
@@Viatrading This of course is on your web page, this happened two years ago and I have moved on.
Return policy: Please note all goods are sold As-Is and all sales are final.
Via Trading does not offer any guarantees on the merchandise we offer and there are no exchanges or returns possible. Having said that, we are not perfect and unintentional mistakes can occasionally happen. If you ordered case of clothing and we shipped you a case of toys or if you ordered 250 units of cosmetics and received 200 - we will make up for that. If you ordered New Overstock merchandise and received Customer Returns in error - you will be fully compensated. However, if you ordered a load with 3,973 units, and you received 3,965 - then we will probably inform you that occasionally discrepancies do exist in manifests and one should take that in to account when working with such goods. If you ordered a customer return Kitchen Pallet and received some defective units, we will probably inform you that customer return pallets can and do include a percentage of defective units. If you ever have any issues or concerns with your orders, please do call or email us and we will always strive to resolve your issue quickly and fairly with the aim of making sure our customers are always satisfied in their experience dealing with us.
I purchased from via trading earlier this year, spent $6050 on 3 pallets, lost money on one, broke even on the second, took about 3 months to sell everything just to make a $800 profit. Since then I’ve done more homework and connected with other suppliers and people in the liquidation industry and as much as I really wanted via trading to be a reliable supplier for my eBay business unfortunately they’re just too expensive.
The amount of work it took from cleaning to testing then listing and for what I paid for on my pallets just wasn’t worth it in the end. Maybe in the future I might decide to give via another chance but a lot of the inventory they carry just doesn’t work well for those of us strictly doing e-commerce.
The stuff they carry works well for brick and mortar discount stores but not so much for online sellers. And the lots they do offer for e-commerce are just way too expensive.
From what I have seen lately I tend to agree.
Sadly that business could care less about hurting your name. I would be shocked if they didn't stack that pallet especially after reaching out to you. I'd never put my name out there on anything like that unless I already ordered 2 or more pallets to see avg of goods received without them knowing it was me if I were in your shoes personally
So skeptical.
Of course we care about hurting a hard working individuals name.
We want to gain Jon as a customer and have him continue to share our name.
@Via Trading in life things have to be proven...if what you say is true let word of mouth spread your praises from people you don't reach out to. If you are a truly honest company and not looking to just make a buck off people's backs then it will be told by many.
Why are your reviews on Yelp so terrible ? 2 stars ?
Let’s guess ? Everyone is lying ?
@@ironmonkeyfist74 Jon is the first RUclipsr we've reached out to. Others have purchased from us and done their own reviews... We recently celebrated 20 years in business. We wouldn't have been able to achieve that if we were looking out for our customers
Decent looking product but looked repacked to me. I would assume they hand picked the pallet. Maybe in future randomly order one and see how it looks. Overall great video.
Thank you.
Picked a pallet that suited his needs from the warehouse.
This is a pallet from our SMS program.
We process manifested SMS general merchandise lots and build pallets based on categories: General merchandise, clothing, toys, furniture, electronics, costumes etc...
This is done to provide customers looking for specific categories with suitable merchandise for their business.
Merchandise wasn't hand selected, inspected or anything.
The manifested lot is put on a conveyor belt and each item is put in a pallet based on it's category...
We'd posted multiple videos about that on RUclips and other platforms.
Most of their sms club pallets unfortunately are filled with clothing, I purchased one because my account manager recommended it would be perfect for eBay, I lost money on it…
Definitely a loss for anyone not picking it up. Pallet is several hundred dollars to ship a decent amount of distance..after fees and a full day of breaking down, listing, shipping big items..not even close to being worth the time..cool to see though. Thanks for sharing
was thinking the same. -20%. For fees and promoted listing. And we all know fees have shipping + taxes calculated in. - $300, generously deducting $200 for shipping. -$615 for actual pallet cost. Is that less than a $200 profit? Or is my math wrong?
@@antwhite684 very close
This place is definitely overpriced, I got screwed on 4 pallets , their account managers are a joke imho.
I do math differently.. after fees you'd get roughly a 50-60% return on your investment. Especially with larger items, paying 13% on those labels. 50% isn't bad in scale though.. especially if the sell thru rates are high for these items. Basically you need to buy 8k worth of pallets every month to turn 4-5k profit per month. Totally doable if these pallets are consistent. Will you be buying any pallets from them? I'm curious to know if they could consistently deliver pallets of this quality at that volume. If so, that's pretty easy to scale!
Hey Jon and Jenna, it looks like you are finally getting better. Good to see that the items were clean, not covered in stickers or tape and other unmentionable things. I thought your price guessing was pretty much bang on. Looks like the majority of those items will raise your ASP and fly off the shelves. Great video !
Items are listed but not flying anywhere just yet
Yes they fixed that pallet to make them look better
Unfortunately they did, purchased a sams club pallet under the recommendation of one of their account managers most of the items on that pallet were filled with clothing, I told my account manager beforehand that I don’t sell clothing.
Those items look fun! Great selection. For me, in Florida, I would need to be able to swing over to Ocala or Orlando and pick it up to make it worth it. I need one of those scales too! I hope y'all are feeling better you sound alot better.
Giving the scales away on Fridays live. Hope you can make it.
Glad you got some free goods! I assume you got the best of best. Norton blocks their website everytime I go to it saying malicious site. Not sure why but im local SoCal and was curious about pallets that list the items you buy. Anyways, thanks for the video. Easy sales for you on those items. 👍🏼🤑
That's no good! We're looking into that as we speak but are white listed with Norton Antivirus...
It's never done that to me anytime I go on their website. It has for other websites but never Via Trading. It's a legit real company lol
Maybe I am not as picky as I should be, but I would be thrilled to get that pallet at that price. Wish I had a garage... Thanks Jon and Jenna for doing this. I hope you both are feeling better both physically and emotionally.
Thank you Wanda.
Nice Pallet... if let me know if you are going to list one of those scales because I could use one....
Not selling the scales. We have decided to do a give away on Fridays live. Make sure you are there.
Wow, good pallet. We never get anything like that in UK. Random, odd question for you, why do those tree’s behind you have no leaves. Looks like the tops have been cut off. We don’t get tree’s like that in the UK, hence my curiosity. 😂
These are palm trees and the neighbors chose to cut the tops off so the palm leaves won’t fall and damage something.
@@FlippinAintEasy we have huge tree’s, taller than our houses that are way to close for safety. Yet the local councils don’t maintain them to a safe height. Then on high winds, they come down. The same tree’s they say are checked and safe.
This pallet was made for him
My handle descriptions ☝️is a good plug for all kinds of pallets and mystery boxes. Truckloads are available and shipping is globally to any location.
Great Video Jon! Good On You Getting Great Items and That Is all Im going to Say .....I've Dealt with them In The Past On a Full Truck Load and For Me Not Going To Use Them again.....
In the not too distant past (perhaps 4 years ago now) I bought 12 pallets of US Military surplus liquidation. Fortunately with my truck and trailer I was able to pick up the pallets myself on a drive from central Texas to the pickup site at Oklahoma City (About $120 expense each pickup trip) 3 trips. All pallets were manifested and I made many thousands on the stuff. Problem came that the company lost their government contract and the new liquidators moved the pickups to Pennsylvania and Las Vegas. So the costs of shipping became too much to bear with further purchases.
The company receiving the new government contract for liquidation is Ritchie Brothers. Were I near Pennsylvania or Las Vegas I am sure I would still be buying military surplus from them. Since you are in Las Vegas I would highly recommend looking them up for local pickup pallets!
I have looked at Via and get their emails, but ah again the problem is shipping from Cali to Texas. Just not profitable for me here. Were I closer I am sure I would have ordered from them. Steven Steph Resale killers in a video a few years ago made a video in their warehouse. It's probably still on their playlist.
Great Video my friend!
My video from way back when. - ruclips.net/video/yxyizQZGAgU/видео.html
If I were to do liquidation, I'd rather gamble on Sam's or Costco products than Amazon products. Amazon just seems like it has the potential for a bunch of cheap Chinese junk.
I don't know if I like the 2X profit margin on sight-unseen merch. I can go to an antiques auction and do way better than 2X and also know exactly what I'm getting.
That's exactly what this is
Yeah, I fell for it too on 3 tall pallets for 350.00 each 3-4 yrs ago. Still no profit. Too much junk
From us?
Not worth it for some sellers I think you git be close to be able to collect I also think that that pallet was repacked and was picked for you it be nice to see if you continued to get that sort of quality from them my first thought when it came of the truck was that's not a pallet it's half a pallet
This was a pallet selected from our warehouse floor. There would be no point is us advertising a pallet that isn't regularly available.
To be exact, that's what we call a bin :)
I love unboxing videos! I do trust that your review is honest and truthful, but I am not so sure that Via Trading has treated you like anyone else and just sent you a pallet from the warehouse.
I can assure you we have. The intention is to send what we have because if we send him something "special" and you purchase the same program from us but get a significantly different reaction we're doing ourselves a disservice.
The aim is to supply resellers with suitable merchandise for their business and have them come back.
I was taught at an early age to never buy anything first without seeing it. If you want to gamble with your money, it is March Madness throw a few hundred dollars down on some basketball games.
We're open to the public so come on by and see the pallets for yourself
I've purchased a few lots from them and have had good success. I sell clothing, though, so my experience is different .
I just took a quick look and mainly just saw Amazon and target clothes. If I could find better name brands I'd buy a lot or 2.
@@Justme0528 We have clothing from various department stores. Register with us through the link Jon provided and you'll be assigned to a dedicated account manager that will support you in finding the most suitable options for your business. Also note that we have plenty of goods not listed on our website
@@Justme0528 they have Macy's and Nordstrom clothing too.
Not worth it for the cost if they average between $600/$800 plus shipping. The problem the items are too big and not high value. If not local totally not worth it.
I REALLY want this box to be "legit" in presentation, but my 6th Sense is screaming that it's "too perfect" and that worries me.
YOU are being very honest, very open, and very straightforward ... so I don't have an issue there.
My problem is that (it seems to me) the likelihood of hitting the percentage of new-ish, sealed-ish, high rate of turnover-ish, higher valued-ish items is next to zero.
Think about what your best item in the pallet is, and what the number 2 item was. They're pretty close in value, and that has not been my experience in the past.
Next, think of what your lowest value/quality item is in the pallet, and consider if it is something that would still be worth selling on ebay. My experience has been that there are "normally" a couple of things that are just trash, but that doesn't seem to be the case here.
Again, I WANT this to be a legit and true representation of the pallets they deliver, but it's got a "funky scent of deception" at the moment ... and I'm going to have to wait on some feedback from your future purchases and what your other subscribers experience.
This was a pallet I selected myself from our warehouse floor.
SMS pallets are indeed very clean unlike pallets from other stores.
Happy to facetime and show you videos of the rest of these pallets.
Very interesting video - watch your video chat all the time - price + shipping - $650.00 + $300.00= $950.00 . Can sell for $1250.00 , profit is only $300.00 is it worth it ? Did they cherry pick what they sent to you ? After eBay fees is it a loser ? Would welcome your feedback.
I paid no shipping. As I mentioned on something like this one would have to pick it up to 2x your profit. I like being well above 2x margin in most cases.
Yes but you would have to drive to their warehouse which I believe is some where in California so with time and gas still not a good profit
Thats a small pallet for the price. I drive 30 minutes to pay $800 for an 8 foot pallet.
Where at?
i understand why you do it, i do prefer going out sourcing for a 10x plus and if not, i like the wholesale because it is replenishable and you can just keep your listing going thus meaning no extra work, you just adjust the numbers you have in stock. if you pick well in wholesale you could achieve the same kind of numbers as this pallet. for me you could have popped down the strip and put it all on the roulette, because you dont know what your getting there either.
10x plus?!? Picky Ricky... share your secrets brother :)
@@Viatrading i have no secrets, you just pounce on under valued stuff like the 6 x lotions i bought for a total of £1.20 today but are worth £20 each - that is a 100x profit margin
Very nice pallet! I am interested in buying the scale from you:)
Not selling them. Going to be going both away on Fridays live. Make sure you are there with us.
@@FlippinAintEasy Nice, what time on Friday?
Let’s go!
The prices you posted looked like Sam's retail prices. I've bought both the scale and the tire inflator from Sam's Club.
These were sold comps I pulled from ebay.
@@FlippinAintEasy If you can get full retail right now I'd get those posted ASAP.
I have that exact scale..love it
Damn, I was hoping to sell you one.
Actually going to be giving away both scales on Friday.
Went to the companies website - they are showing nothing that even resembles the pallet they sent you
You would have to contact the assigned sales rep once you sign up and let them know what you are looking for.
My handle descriptions ☝️is a good plug for all kinds of pallets and mystery boxes. Truckloads are available and shipping is globally to any location.
I feel like them sending this to you to review they had to have tailored the contents.
We selected a pallet from our warehouse that suits his needs, 100%. As Jon doesn't like clothing, cosmetics, bedding and focuses mainly on hard goods, we selected a pallet that best suited his customer base
@@Viatrading I am interested in buying some pallets near me in San Diego but I thought pallets would always be random returns

@FlippinAintEasy it's so hard finding a trustworthy place. Found a guy on Facebook but he sent all broken items!!! Solar panels all shattered, auto parts greasy and damaged, ripped green house with no poles to build it... horrible experience.

The link doesn't work, Jon.
I fixed the link. Apparently it was case sensitive.
This place use to be good to source now everything is overpriced and expensive
