Is Anyone actually working after finished the courses from Preppy, passed the exam then actually got a job working? All I see on RUclips is people just talking about taking courses and not actually working. The most important thing is, are there anyone who actually earned certificate and working? The only reason that we are paying these courses its because we want to get a decent job
Thank you for this video. I have seen it after finishing Preppy and taking the test with NWCA but this help confirms my decision making ❤️ next steps is the NALA and externship/landing a job!
@@alicehammonds8107 for paralegal, it was fine. At your own pace. You will have the ebook and PowerPoint to go through then quizzes after each section. There are optional assignments as well. It’s 6 steps that have modules within them but you have to finish one step before you can see the next step. (So pace yourself, because you don’t know what the next step contains).

I am currently enrolled in the Paralegal program with Preppy as well and I am enjoying it. However, I just want to know how the externship part of it works. I am just anxious to know if they will reach out to get in touch with me to see what area of law I am interested in to help place me.
@@Violettinypony update on externship placement? I'm actually looking into the surgical tech program but there is maybe 1 example of someone getting placement. So, that has led me to looking at how well they are doing with their other programs.

I completed an associates paralegal degree 10 years ago, but never used it. I would like to finally get into the paralegal profession. Would you recommend the Preppy course as a refresher, or would I be better off taking your civil litigation course? Or maybe both?
Honestly, the Preppy route will better equip you for getting back into the legal industry because they have an externship which will give you job history on your resume. Plus, if you plan to take the Certified Paralegal NALA exam, Preppy is definitely the best route to go because it will better prepare you for all components of the exam. While I love my Civil Litigation course and think it is a wonderful tool, the Preppy courses will better equip you for the industry as a whole. I hope this helps. Thanks for watching my video and commenting. I appreciate you!
(Dec 2024) This was posted a year ago. I scanned the comments and may have missed this but is there an *update from someone who completed the Preppy Paralegal program and found paralegal work? Can we hear from someone who can speak to their experience with Preppy's externship? Can anyone speak to Preppy's reputation for supporting students in finding paralegal work?
Really enjoying your channel :) I have my bachelors in law and a law clerk diploma. I was originally planning on becoming a lawyer but I have decided to aim to be a paralegal so that I can still have a career in law but a more balanced lifestyle. I am currently working as a legal assistant and would like to move up to paralegal. Do you think I should do more schooling to help me achieve my goals and if so, what type of program? Can you please advise of how you think I could reach my goal of moving up to paralegal. Thank you
This is not a scam I’m on my third week. But this does not make you certified by Nala. You still have to take that exam on your own after completing this program. This teaches you exactly what you need to know. I like it so far.
I’ve been a paralegal for 9 years and worked for 4 different firms and not once was I asked for an ABA approved certificate. It’s a title given to institutions that pay the fees to buy in to it. Maybe years ago it was a big deal but now I think many programs offer the same outcome not much of a difference besides the price.
I'm just curious because I am thinking about using preppy myself. One question that I do have to ask is the college that they are associated with? Is it a national college and legit?

So there is no number on the preppy website to speak to anyone? It wants me to pay to get access before speaking to a professional?

How does the exam certification process work? Does the program provide the exam or do you have to apply for it elsewhere?
