Taylor Swift - Stages of Grief (Re-Imagined Journey)

so hard to make but so proud of it :)
some notes about each chapter 🤍💫
00:00 - chapter 1: denial
a strange happiness in which in its depths lies a reality that no one wants to see. in this chapter i simulate this feeling with nostalgic melodies, natural, human instruments, and with a last attempt of desperation at the end with percussion. not sadness but last moments of joy in the lie.
01:39 - chapter 2: anger
violent synthesizers, electric guitars and percussion. moments of realizing where you are in the loss, a bit of sadness but above all, anger. if you listen carefully, the percussion at the beginning of the chapter is the same as the one at the end of the previous chapter.
04:31 - chapter 3: bargaining
between anger and sadness lies desperation. a last try for the loss not to be lost. no percussion this time, this is a fragile and peacful moment where you kneel down and ask, with all the love of the world, "don't go"
06:05 - chapter 4: depression
nothing makes sense anymore. not melodies but sounds. there is nothing sadder and deeper. an endless hole from which you don't expect to go anymore. melodies and percussion start to play when you try to move forward. you try to do things that used to make you feel good, but no matter what you do, you will always feel that something is wrong. something in the melody is not quite "hopeful". the percussion simulates that war in which you lose everything to be born again.
at the end, in the void of nothing, you find what truly matters.
08:38 - chapter 5: acceptance
after a loss, true happiness is not achieved in the same way as before. here the instruments are no longer the same as in the first chapter, the percussion has a sharper and more direct tone and the melodies are shorter and simpler. because rediscovering happiness does not mean going back to the same old places, but discovering new ones. feel like starting over and accept that, even if you have lost something very important to you, you are capable of moving on.
the abrupt ending reflects the desire to recover after the whole grief process.
i made this re-imagined journey using the songs Taylor included on each chapter's playlist on Apple Music. I tried to keep a lyric narrative as much as I could & tried to transmit each state with the production. hope you like it 🤍
i also have to say that (i don't know why or how) now i have the youtube partner! it doesn't do much because most versions can't be monetized because of copyright but others like this one can (for some reason i don't know) so I tried to put the ads on the transitions so that it does not disturb too much.
it's my first time with it so i don't know how it really works, if you find it too annoying tell me and I'll remove them (I also don't know how I feel about monetizing these versions which, even though I spend hours and hours doing them, are taylor's "songs"... i have to give it some thought, tell me if you want your opinion!)

The anger stage melody is AMAZING! Also, having the duration 11:02 is quite superior considering TS 11, and 11+2=13. Don't know if that was intentional but I'm here for the coincidences.
