I'll admit I had no idea what to expect from this but I'm actually quite intrigued to see where this goes since they're actually getting different Spider-people and Madame Webs powers are interesting. Though this movie does like a fan film at times.
Also Ezekiel ties into the Spider-Totem lore from John Romita Jr's Spider-man run which I never expected.
im not very knowledgeable on the spider-totems but i thought Ezekiel was a good guy? or is it like a bad guy becomes friend type of thing?

I'd rather have many potentially mid Spider projects than mid "villain" movie projects just because Venom was popular (for its own specific reasons because Venom and people like Eddie Brock too as a tired good guy). So this is a step in the right direction

This film's trailer did look fan made but I think that was a creative decision and I'm interested in the story, movies don't need to look and have amazing effects and CGI. A movie needs a good storyline and if it does I believe this will be atleast a decent movie and who knows, I'm honestly excited

Everything shows which Spidey it's connected to:
•In The Amazing Spider-Man, it was explained the spiders were injected with Rochard Parker's DNA so nobody could use it, so if it's in the TASM universe the Spider-People would look like Harry Osborn in TASM2.
•It doesn't really have am MCU feeling, and that's impossible since it's Sony.
•It has RaimiVerse parts, and the web on the suits looks like the webs on Tobey's suit.
It would be better if the train scene was the same train as in the RaimiVerse.

I like the concept and cast tbh. If they can execute it well yeah I'm in. But the costumes looks like straight from a fan fic movie. And really not digging the shaky cam stuff.
That’s because Disney’s marvel films, that’s why Scorsese hate marvel films they are destroying the taste of people for cinema. Those are REAL costumes mate, and yes they look normal ones, like ourselves could reproduce in our lives, and that’s exactly as they should look. Don’t have to be perfect don’t have to be CGI. I love Dark Knight costume Nolan did the right choice and so did Sony in Tobey’s Spiderman
@@LHollan I never said the suit needs to be cgi stop putting words in my mouth. I love Raim'is Spider-man suit, Andrews Tasm 2 suit those were practical and those were good. The technical side in the trailer is not that impressive it's just my opinion. I get it takes place in the 20s but still. I'll give it a try bcoz i like the whole concept.

I would just like to mention the writers also wrote morbius along other bad movies like the last witch hunter, power rangers(live action), gods of egypt and Dracula untold this movie might be like the ones I mentioned and just be enjoyable bad movies that you can rewatch because ngl the only movie I didn’t rewatch was morbius I’ve rewatched all the movies I mentioned.

It doesn’t feel like a spider man movie to me it feels like an indie superhero project that just so happens to have spider people in it
You did say that you wished that they would do kore projects with alternate versions of spider-man, and this does actually have one (kinda not really). Ezekiel Sims actually has the same powers as Peter Parker's Spider-man, and he even takes over as Spider-man upon Peter's death in an alternate universe. This very much seems like an elseworld project to me, where Ezekiel Sims is a villian. I honestly liked the trailer, but some things could have been better though too. I think it will be good, but once again it could easily be another Morbius (sure hope not).
Edit: Sorry about the essay, just wanted to clear the air on some things. I think some things is the trailer do still look dumb, though
