I've just bought the Bluetti AC50S and Solar Panel kit, so tomorrow is supposed to be dry and bright so am going to do my test, doesn't have to be sunny either. Woohoo! Great demo video.
Hey guys! Just watched your return to uk ‘unwrap gifts’ vid, lol.. Like watching kids at Christmas, love it lol.. And then just seen this.. Can see how impressed you guys are with these powers stations, as we are! Amazing bits of kits and have totally changed our lives, we literally have unlimited power now! Good review Dan, glad you guys got out of Ireland before full lockdown down just kicked in!! Stay safe xxx
I have the 500amp version(Very small and weighs nothing) And the soler panel. So both take up little space and are just what the doc ordered. I use it in trips in my disco. Best bit of kit I've bought in a while
Problem is leaving solar panel outside i fear some git may nick it. When it comes to these dark filthy winter times of dark light we have solar chargers that use MPPT which allows it to charge better in the conditions but i have no idea if that thing supports mppt.
hi dan and mazzy... i know its extra weight but it maybe worth keeping them both in motorhome, one to charge when you use the other . .either way its a big thumbs up for Maxoak Bluetti .....stay safe you two xxx
Thanks for the information Dan great to hear the power banks are working well for you. if I ever get round to doing a van conversion I will be getting one of those👍
4:29 mins onwards but pause the video there... if you focus on one of the white dots in between the squares all the other white dots become black dots. its an optical illusion from back in the day. You're welcome.
Looks like a great piece of kit for caravanning or camping or if you get a power cut you could plug your tv in it and some lights. A very informative video thanks for the review.
Have the Trolls hired a professional Camera Man ??? Nice work Mazzy lol . Just imagine 20 years time ! The development of power systems for Campervans/RV’s well done Dan ATB Stephen
Keep looking at these as we try not to do sites. We usually off grid everywhere. Quite a big size difference. We struggle with keeping the laptop charged. Like the idea of the solar panel charger. Quite a big panel. Great that it fits the other power banks. What you going to do with your spare one😉😉😉 Thanks for that Dan For some reason the maxoak.net link sends you to the UK shipping page but I can't see the competition 🤔
Great review dan no acting daft absolutely brilliant from you I hope mazzy is well hope the meeting with Dr love went well , bet you're glad you left Ireland when you did all the best 👍
£2000 + for a Power Bank In the UK? Who can afford that Just for electric? Can you Please state the cost for the purchase of the power-bank & the related addition of solar panels in your videos? That would be really helpful for many of the UK viewers. Example = are these additions cost effective for people who travel part time, full time.
Its not about being cost effective. Its about having power when off grid or wild camping. It will definately save a lot on site fees over the years if we can wild camp for longer periods without running out of power.
@@TravelTrollsTV Thank you for your swift reply above. what I and many others in the UK 🇬🇧 would be interested in is the related cost? For example = The power bank you reviewed = the cost in UK 🇬🇧 is £2000+ & then additional cost of the solar pack? ( which is only available in USA currently - via your links). My question was who can afford that in uk for just electric? Many people will use a combination of gas and electric. Both of which are easy access in UK for the distance ( miles ) we can do. In UK 🇬🇧 most people will travel a few months from spring too autumn ( 6 months) Generally 100 - 300 miles maximum in a day with many stops along the way. If you had to buy a power bank from your own money ( not a free gift from a company too do a review ) in the UK 🇬🇧 is this the one you’re recommending? That’s my question?
Looks good. You can also plug your mobile sun panel to the battery of the campervan.

Yes but now stuck in England not knowing what to do next. Get passports and hit Europe when all this is over we think. 🙂

Modern solar panels just need daylight Dan. You might be surprised how well it works.
great. Ill give it a test then.
Yeah, those photons are still getting through. Not even sure they need to be in the visible spectrum. These solar panels just get better.
Yep. I remember someone saying they charged up their backup power behind a patio door in the sun!
right , i want to see you take that up a mountain and plug a hair dryer in it . but one question is it pure sinewave or modified
Am l the right person to ask? 😅🤣
American version is pure sine wave. Can’t speak for other versions but I assume the same
Good review Dan, you said it all for me!
Not my best but not much more to say.

Didn't know they existed, but really, really useful things to have. The solar panel is a great addition. Thanks for sharing..

Cool , someday i am going to try and get one .
Quite a nice tidy solution
at 1:20 I was screaming at Dan as I saw his new cell phone on the ground inches away from his foot
dont worry, it was placed incredibly lightly and carefully. I always look after my baby :-)
Hi Dan. Can you use it to boil kettle and make a cup of tea ?
Yes

not sure yet. All the links are what max oak bluetti sent me so I can't help with the links.
@@TravelTrollsTV no problem I'll persevere and sort something. ☺️
@DP1807 thank you but all sorted now. Maxoak emailed me so they could check I'd entered correctly 😁
Can you join the two power packs together to get a super power pack?
No.
The new version that will cost £3000 will connect 2 batteries
