How did you end up storing them? I've got tons in my garage for my wedding and trying to figure out how to keep them nice but also get some garage space back!
Hi love! I do have an updated video, I cover how you could wet them and let them air dry, and you can blow dry them as well to clean them up. As far as the bugs go, whenever I clip them I do a thorough check. If I see any, I simply just use the fliers to take the bugs out. Keep in mind, the ones I have gotten do not have that many bugs in them. So putting a light hair spray helps get rid of them too. Hope this helps 😘
Alot of the ones I cut where not fully fluff still, some had green folliage. And when you cut the stem, it's still alive. So when you dry them, you allowed them to fully fluff out and for the stem to dry. I have other videos showing how they look now. Had them for more than a year now. So florist advice for you to dry them before you start using them in projects as well. Hope that makes sense.
Angie Li omg thank you so much for clearing that up for me. Yes i just cut them and the stem is super green and very much alive lol do you think it’s okay to hang them in my garage tho? I live in California and it’s HOTTTT. Especially in the garage.
@@jazminemarquez6417 no prob! And I live in California too! More inland so it would not be any issue. So I have an updated video where I mentioned that you could dry them standing up(this can be inside your home too) but i noticed that it does not fluff up all around. Instead they lean towards one side. But I haven't encountered any issues hang drying them in my garage. In fact I have all of the ones I have dried in there since I don't have room in my house for them (I'm using the pampas for our wedding next year). You are welcome to message me on my ig: ang3lica_li . I will be glad to show you what I mean hahaha ☺️
I saw some in the entrance of a neighborhood in Texas I was driving and so shook because I been seeing the prices on Etsy Any tips on how to cut them? have you tried the blow dryer
I know. Crazy prices! My last update video on the pampas I talked about different ways on how to fluff them and what works best. Make sure to be covered up since the grass does cut. It's like getting paper cuts 😂. So wear gloves, pliers to cut the stems and beware: lots of plumes will get everywhere (it's normal). The ones I found were tall so I cut them my desire length. Hope that helps!
Hii from France !! Thank you for your nice video 🙏🏼 do you think that I can dry it from september for my wedding which is on june 2021 ? Or is it too early...? Thank you 😊
Yes you can. I dried mine last year in October and we postponed the wedding to Sep 2021. Ive had mine for almost a year now and still looks good!! 👍 I would dry them if you can get them since summer/fall is there season. Hope this helps 👍
Please help me!!!! What kind of hair spray is it, meaning, is it a moisturizer or like hair holding spray, etc???? Thank you soooo much in advance! 💖💛💖💖
So I dried mine in October and they are still looking good! I'm using them for my wedding in March. So you should be fine. According to my florist she has had hers for more than 30yrs.. they can keep for a long time if you hairspray them every 3-4months if you see them shedding but mine have been fine.
I have one more question, how did you know the Pampas grass was ready to cut that was in the neighborhood? Should it be a certain height, or fullness? Thanks!
You can cut them even when they aren't full. Just make sure to hang them upside so they do achieved their fullness. I actually cut a bunch of skinny/green ones(weren't full) and they opened up really pretty. As far as height goes, it's really up to you how tall you need them.
Thank you. I really need this . But please when you speak don't put music. So we can easy hear you 😊 And when they are dry they don't fly everywhere in the house ? 😊
Thank you for your feedback! I was using my phone to edit but now I'm using a different software. But I will keep that in mind. 😘 And I'm finally going to do an inspection today or tomorrow and give them another coat of hairspray. I will let you know if they get everywhere. 😀
Okay so I had a chance to go back and finally use them. So there are different types of pampas grass. I have some that don't shed, barely shed and some that shed alot. I added a bunch of hairspray and noticed that it helped alot. I hope this helps. I'm going to put an update on my ig stories tomorrow and talk about it there. @ang3lica_li
Your video looks informational but tooooooooo low volume! I'm losing out on your precious info! Plz fix it I'd really like to hear exactly what you're saying
Thank you. Someone just offered to give my their field full of them. I’m going to dry them for my wedding in September!!!

The ones in the last part of the video, are they the same thing? Just not opened up?
Thanks for the video Angie, echoing the question about how to clean them of bugs and dirty beforehand!

Hi! Thank you so much for watching! You can use any hair spray. I used the tresemme unscented.
How long does it take to drive ?
In another video, you mentioned using a blow dryer after the hairspray. Did you use a blow dryer on these?
can you rinse them then hang them? or rinse them then blow them out a little??
This might be a dumb question, sorry. But what do you mean dry them? I also just cut some from a field and they’re not wet lol

I’m just curious, what happens if you don’t dry them after you pick them?
Can i use any leaves or flowers with hair spray? Wanna use these for my wedding decor.. tu
No I tried it and it failed unfortunately. They don't last.
Thank you sis 😍
Hey I found some around my neighborhood and some are a little dirty from the weather. An I was wondering how to clean them
Try lightly blow drying them
How to make them white? 😩

Thank you.
How long do you leave them hanging upside down to dry?
Hi! I left them hanging for two weeks
How to bleach it?
Hi! I haven't had a need to bleach them so maybe I'll do a video on it as soon as I figure it out
Thank you so much for sharing your tips!
Thank you for the love!
Im going to go look for some tomorrow. Any tips on what kind of environment they would be in?
Hi hi!! So they grow randomly everywhere since they spread kind of like weed. I found them here in California in neighborhoods and freeways 🙆
Found mine in a swamp area where it’s wet
Why must they be dried ?
Because she start falling out 😀
How long do they hold? I want to dry them right now for august!

Man... cutting these things off the Bush yourself is hell. The leaves/blades are sharp and they burn your arms. I wasn't ready at all.
Haha that was my first experience. That's why I say cover up beside it feels like paper cuts 🤣. I had gotten cuts all over my arms and stomach 😅.
Thank my walking into a field of this, I cane out with cuts all over my body!!!
Haha oh yes the grass cuts like paper cuts!
