I was raised baptist in the heart of Kentucky, the literal “heart” of Kentucky Lol take a look, you’ll see 😂😉👍 anyway, I enjoyed being raised in the church…. Until I was old enough to see behind the scenes!! Needless to say I stopped going and slowly became a religious person without a home. Years went by, life happened, got addicted to opiates for 10 years, etc. Lol been clean over 10 years now, have a family, small business, etc. had no interest in modern religion, until I found this…… you’re luring me back in John Lol been a warrior poet since day 1!! Before it was cool haha 😂 I like these tho John, I’m slowly watching all your videos. Sorry for the book! The goal was to say THANK YOU John Lol 😂👍

John, thank you for replying on Twitter this weekend. I understand that you almost never respond there and that is profound to me that you did. It reenforces that I am on the correct path to decide to seek God. I have been enjoying the Romans series and I have now started on the Acts series you did. I went to buy a bible on line and I was bombarded with different translations and categories. Does anyone have a recommendation on a bible translation I should buy as a recovering Atheist looking for God?

@@robhicks81- most of the modern translations are really good. I usually camp out in the ESV but I visit NIV regularly.

I had followed John off and on for years, this past April we stepped back into the Church, my whole family was baptized a few weeks ago. The past little while John's channel here along with other content has been such a tool to help me stay the course and keep focus on the Lord and reject distractions as idols.
    So grateful for this content.

I feel right at home with sermons like this. I wholeheartedly believe that God has given me discernment. I don't know everything but it's like my heart was singing learning about the Tabernacle and just confirming some of the things I believe. All glory to the Father. Thank you Jesus. Amen

THIS IS THE KIND OF PREACHING IN NEED TO FURTHER GROW MY OWN PERSONAL FAITH IN CHRIST JESUS!!!!!!!!!!!! WoW!!!! I freaking love it Pastor John!
Thank you God for useing your servant John. I have been very recently praying for an increase of Faith. And this is one of those things God is useing to further my understanding, and Faith. Thank you Father for always being true. Thank you Father for answering my prayers. But even now I know he is has just begun, and is not yet finished answering my prayer's, to grow my Faith, and my understanding of Him. God Bless this Ministery with Holy Joy, Love, Abundance, and Humility. Thank you Father for giving John the desire to Teach, and Preach The Way.

I pray the Lord open the eyes of my Jewish cousins. The symbols, the prophecies, they all speak to Jesus! They're so focused on the messiah bringing forth the physical kingdom of God, that they are missing out on the spiritual kingdom they can enjoy until that day! Amen

I am really really happy to have listened to the sermon. It is given some clarification to some things .I do follow some people who are Torah observant Christians, but this explanation really brings clarity. I’ve read these things with my own eyes and had my own interpretation but this has truly been enlightening. Thank you, John.

We gain salvation through faith so we can do good works out of our heart.
If our salvation was by good works then those works wouldn't be from the heart they would be from fear

I recently went down to TN and NC to volunteer with relief efforts. It was an awesome group of hard working talents I was blessed to work alongside side of. A large majority of them are “Torah observant”. It was a new one to me. Like Hebrew roots-ish I guess. Some of the men I met are some of my new favorite people, but man, they sure do put a weird twist on scripture. Plus they hate on bacon. This sermon touched on some of my thoughts on the matter. Thanks for it. I’d love to hear your dismantling of their views with scripture someday.

Would like to hear you cover some the the verses in James as well as in John when Jesus saying “if you love me, keep my Commandments”
How do you reconcile those two viewpoints and make sure that you are not truly thinking you are saved by works? What if you feel convicted to keep the all these aspects of the law throughout different areas of life? How do I know if that’s from the spirit or a discouragement from Satan? Once saved always saved doesn’t check out so how do you stay covered in Christs mercy?

    • @WarriorPoetSociety
      @WarriorPoetSociety 21 день назад +1

Law of Christ: love God, love people. We obey not for salvation, but out of love. Salvation is done by grace through faith and not by following the law commands. But if we truly love Him, we will seek to please Him. So we are saved FOR good works and not BY good works

This happened to me a month or so ago! In my morning prayer time the word mediocre came up. Lo and behold the preacher preached on it that night (it was a Wednesday night). He said he never uses that word, and neither do I. But he mentioned in his sermon how he woke up at 4am that morning with that word in his heart. Gotta love when the Lord works in supernatural ways like that at times

Hey John! Have you ever read “Through new eyes” by James B Jordan?
You can find stuff by him on RUclips or the Canon App as well.
He argues that the entire bible is written in its own language. A language of symbols and types.
It’s a really good read. You won’t regret it.

Please look up the 'alaph tav' in hebrew and how often it is in the OT. Then translate it and read it. The messiah has been with us since the bigging of time. He is the first and the last. The Alpha and Omega. The king of kings. Jesus Christ is the Lord of God.

I love your sermons but I'm a whole bible believer. The bible: It's one book full of smaller books, not a book with two books filled with smaller books lol but seriously everyone that reads this I pray you all come to Torah in the mighty name of Jesus. Stop worshipping Yah the way the nations/pegans worship there gods. Jesus is God and God does not change Malichi 3:6

Any chance you actually gave the Catholic Church a chance? They are the one true Church founded by Christ historically speaking since Jesus 2000 years ago. I don't imagine you know more than all the saints... (?)

The one true church is every true believer for all time. The Catholic Church, as Augustine would remark, “has man sheep without and many wolves within”. It’s also true about all the Protestant churches. What matters is ‘born again’ - that’s the ‘true church’. It’s whoever will be in heaven, where we won’t call ourselves Baptist or Catholic.
