guys an IMPORTANT SUGGESTION for you all. Ssd must not be installed in the cd drive port. As it has a limited bandwidth of 1.5Gbps. This will lag the performance of ssd that requires a 6Gbps port.. So instead open the laptop and put HDD in the place of cd drive port and SSD must be put in placw of HDD. I know its more complicated. But this is the RIGHT WAY to install an extra ssd

Wow! Excellent guiding and to the point. Geeksnap says it is better to install SSD in the HD slot and HD in the CD slot to match the speed of SSD (6 GB) while the speed of the CD Drive may be only 1.5 GB. Please also post a video to show how to do it though I can imagine it may not be a problem.
The ssd in dvd drive runs in SATA II, which is still faster than an HDD.
But yes, if you install the SSD in the HDD slot, it will run in SATA III, and the speed will increase even more.
I would try using SSD in dvd drive first, since it's easier. If I'm satisfied, I'll let it stay there.

You made a great video, but i have a query, that will changing boot up legacy to ssd, also speed up the boot time for programs and stuffs?
Yes,but only those programs or stuff which would be installed on SSD,although if you install windows in SSD then overall performance will be flashingly improved.
You'll clearly notice much difference b/w old speed and new OS Speed.

Yes HDD port is faster than cd drive port ....tou should use ssd in hdd port and hdd in cd drive

@@jishnudewan6233Hi I think your dvd port is damaged. you need to change the DVD port in laptop and then you need to connect HDD. all will be fine.

You can but the band width will be different thus might show problem... better go for same company same ddr same size and same voltsmm.for example ddr4 4gb 1.6v.....

HDD is best as HDD port bandwidth is higher than DVD.
It is preferred that put HDD in DVD caddy slot and SSD in HDD slot.
For ultimate performance get rid of HDD use only SSD

Hdd/ssd in the caddy works for few days. After that is is not detectable.
I doubt caddy may damage the motherboard.

Download windows using media creation tool and reinstall windows to new drive it will be activated. No need to worry about activation.
