The absolute Joy on Bills face / shaking his bones (which everyone could see because his head & shoulders were above everybody else), as the 1st Note played by the Grateful Dead was priceless....Sadley, Knock Knock on heaven's door has a new resident.... Thank you SO MUCH for posting these shows! Very grateful!! The sound is just awesome & the venue and visuals beyond trippy. The lovely blend of Bobby's guitar with Mayer's grows stronger every year. I love this band and all of the players--remembering always that "the music plays the band"...
of course i love the freight train tempo that this tune can be played at, but this down tempo version was quite lovely.
Man I've personally always been a fan of the slow version brings out the emotion of the song I always loon for the slower versions when looking in older shows. I like the slow start to the build uptempo back to slow
