For Dehradun residents, Mussoorie is like, "Chalo aaj subah ki chay Mussoorie mein peete hain." Mussoorie is truly known as "Pahadon Ki Rani". I love being there (been there 2 times in life) but still wanna go there for a long stay.

I came back from Mussoorie on Sat, I was seriously heartbroken after seeing the huge cars, SUVs all thronging our mountains who don't seem like they will be able to take so much load for many years. Saara roads tooti hain, mall road bhi khuda hua tha. The government must take steps to protect the mountains, shaayad thoda private cars ko regulate karne ki zaroorat hai. Using only state owned cabs, buses should be allowed after a certain point in main hill stations.

We went to mussoorie in November ...it was too much crowded...full off traffic...we didn't liked the havoc so we returned back immediately to dehradun.
