Distal means the side of the tooth that’s farthest away from your center line, meaning the very center front of your mouth. The mesial anatomy would be the side of the tooth closer to the center of your front teeth. Hope that helps.

This technology is to see hard tissues only right? does it see cavities?Are there any x rays needed or this technology is self sufficient for hard tissues visualisation for cavities?? Would any dentist ask for x rays after showing them the images of the hard tissues for cavities with this technology? @@markusziman363 it only visualizes the teeth and gums and not the jaw bones. it is possible for it to see a cavity but it’s far from precise and you’ll need a dental checkup with x-rays to be sure

Post covid times.. A camera with gesture recognition would prevent touching and contaminating the screen.
You do know you can wipe the screen after each patient right??
You could also place a clear film tape and dispose of it between patients, most touch screens still work properly with the tape on it.
