Which audio interface do you use and how do you set the input gain knob on your interface? At zero or just before it clips?
And do you use any volume/gain trim plugin before the amp sim? Or any Pre-EQ in DAW before amp sim?
Hi there and Thanks!! I've made a video about pedals through an interface where I answer this more clearly I suppose but my audio interface is a MOTU Traveler and I ALWAYS set it at true-zero. I never go into anything before the DAW UNLESS I am using pedals for some particular reason. On my Day to day I may have a Tuner and Noise Gate before hitting the input of the interface but this is usually not the case. More so If i'm reviewing any gear (unless noted). Hope this helps!

I actually like the 6666 better myself as well but I like the original 5150 better on the physical amp side of things... weird lol
I picked up a license for this amp sim , I think the 5555 sounds slightly thicker but I like the 6666 slightly better it seems to have a little more bite.
Nice! Enjoy!!! I actually like the bottom end of the 5555 but I definitely agree with the 6666 being different and having more bite and a bit more of high mids… both are great editions to the arsenal! 🤘🏻

Kinda sounds like the peavy rage transtube amp I got I use that particular amp for mostly blues and blues rock music
Peaveys tend to have a certain sound…
