Dr Bob brings you SCP Foundation Euclid Class object, SCP-973 Smokey Animation.
SCP 973 consists of two entities. SCP-973-1 is a police cruiser, resembling those used by state troopers in the early 1970s and SCP-973-2 resembles a male in his late 40s who wears a state trooper uniform. SCP973 will manifest at night when another vehicle enters its territory and will chase down the target at high speed with the siren and flashers on.

I could imagine the night hauler saving some drivers from this scp, imagine it. This SCP is chasing some subjects only for the night hauler to show up behind 973 and knock them off the road and somehow manage to hijack the signal when colliding to say "Drive on good buddy".

We'll just a single pixel is enough, and plus his distance is relative towards how fast he needs to move.
Well…the question still remains as to how you would keep the picture on there, especially if Smokey rams you, and where you would get it, but yes, it would probably be pretty effective to sic 096 on him.
Not to mention the risk of others seeking 096 before it gets there. They would need to move it closer to minimize the risk of others seeing it

I want a Tale where Smokey pulls over some old guy who used to know him when he was just a normal cop. I presume that he was a typical policeman until sometime in the early '70's, seeing how human he looks and acts. He was civil with the covert SCP agent dressed as a cop (for a bit), so it's possible that he isn't mindlessly violent towards everybody. It'd be interesting to see how he interacts with somebody that he has less of a reason to kill than just some random driver.

If you go over the speed limit, nobody knows exactly what happens. However, it's hinted that 973 rams your car at such a speed that it causes your body and your car to be unrecognisable.
Scary stuff.
i know this comment is one year old, but it tries to get the car to stop (which it will). at that time, the passangers should be mostly unharmed until 973 walks up to their car and mutilates them.

I think SCP-973 should have a Keter classification. It can literally appear out of thin air and can kill multiple people with ease, and is almost impossible to contain.

The reason it's not keter is it is more or less contained to a specific area. If it could appear anywhere any time then it would be keter.

This is an interesting SCP. Just remember you DO NOT have to open the door / lower the window for a police officer in the USA. You only have to show them your identification and the important part is "show" not "give".

I think its classification is wrong due it being a 1st GEN SCP really.

What you can do to escape is let him come by your car then accelerate as hard as you can before he can even get into his car.
It will probably just teleport with his car behind the victim again and repeat this until he caught up.
