One minor annoyance is Tails Doll not having a unique colour for their feature in the SSZ race, Metal Sonic's eyes flashed from red to grey so Tails Doll's gem should've flashed from red to green; Because sometimes in the comics their gem was green.
It's cool to see Tails Doll in this game and should've been in here. And now we get to see Timed Tails (forgot the name). These animations are getting cooler and cooler.
There's a pretty neat mod that adds Tails in the actual game. Also yeah no idea why they didn't, it's like how Metal Knuckles would work great as a replacement for the Sonic battle when playing as Knuckles in Sonic 3. (Got the idea from a AIR mod but still) (Btw there's one for Metal Knuckles as well that goes well if you have the Knuckles mod) I just think there could have been a lot more done with both of them, even tiny things like that would be nice to see.

It's sad that he's delegated to such a support role in recent games. He was such a strong character up until somewhere around Sonic Colors.

It's obvious whom was behind his Nightmares and no it wasn't the Tails Doll, because the doll is just a Puppet and a Puppet needs someone to control it and no it wasn't Dr. Eggman, because his technology can't induce Nightmares at all. It has to be another main villain from the SEGA videogame franchise. I believe it was the work of a massive being with no physical body, save for its tendriled faceless head and six disembodied gauntlets with a eyeball in the center of each palm, this being also has a massive spiky halo around the back of it's head neck and shoulder spikes, while wearing a hoodless cloak and necklace wth three colored shards. *If anyone knows whom I'm referring to, please post your answer down below this comment!*
I did like how you explained why Mecha Sonic/Tails Doll had a temporary speed up and was making odd electrical sounds: It was broken from a previous fight. It showed that Mecha Sonic/ Tails Doll were powerful, but Sonic/Tails were stronger, especially with their Super forms.
