    Planting a lot of marigolds, chrysanthemums, lavender, rosemary, basil, thyme, and lemongrass will help with the bug situation. I think marigolds, chrysanthemums, and lavender are your best bet. I plant marigolds in my garden every year and it keeps the bugs from eating my plants. I also added lavender this year.

I love watching you! I’m so proud of you and how you tackle anything!!❤ I live in Arkansas and they sell mosquito plants 🪴! They smell like citronella

    • @Ladiofthewoods
      @Ladiofthewoods Год назад +12

      Turn your citronella plants into candles after the season is done. Steep the dry plants in hot water, like tea, let this steep a day or two and freeze in ice cube trays to use on yourself as a repellent and store in baggies in the freezer. As well you can do the same with warm oil, let steep for about a week in a warm place, seal and save for next season.
      We do this with citronella, lemon grass etc.

    When doing plants from seed Hannah as soon as they sprout a good stalk add a fan so that they can get stronger.I didn't realize this but once I did it was like.night and day with seed starts.The fan breeze just allows the plant roots to hardy themselves for planting outdoors in spring summer.If not the plants get spindly and shortly after can die.

    I'll bet Molly's problem is water leaking around the port frame, especially since she said it was out last year. If it wasn't sealed properly when re-installed, water could leak in, settling between the deck and the inside ceiling. It would then turn to ice over the winter, expanding in the process. (Molly gets prettier every time we see her).

      Can I give this a thousand thumbs up? The mixing of characters and plots is on a whole other level of content production.

    I am having literally have the same problem with ALL THE BUGS. It is so hard because I just want to be outside but then I instantly get attacked! Sun, shade, wind, it doesn’t matter those guys are durable this year! I recently took the van up the north shore and I was blown away the bugs didn’t exist there like at all?? So now im heavily considering just living in the van for a bit😅 Good luck on your projects!

    Try getting a thermacel to keep the bugs away. They work really well and we use them all the time when we are camping so we can sit outside and not be bug food.

    Omg girl get some BATS. My grandma’s house would get bats every year and we’d have to go chase them out, but it was a good sign they came back to eat her billions of bugs

    OMG, we drove up to the Christie Mountain area/WI, and the bugs!!! The horseflies are almost an inch big. I was afraid to get out of the car!!! But, then I saw Lupines, and thought of you and told my husband, and of course he is oblivious to the YT channels I watch. But it was cool I thought of yours.

    Another tip is a plastic bag and paper towel. Damply wet the seeds and blow warm air in and seal. Theyll germinate.

    Seedling tip: Is that heat mat still on for the seedlings? Really heat mats arent needed after the seedlings sprout as long as ambient temps are like 60+ in that room. Had the same thing happen to me with some seedlings awhile back turns out the soil was getting too hot for them. Also so cool we'll be seeing more of Molly and she has her own molly cam!! :)

    Tomato tip!! Next year try and remove some if not most of the lower limbs and leaves and burry the plant really deep, this will give them a very strong root system! 🍅
