Nice to hear from a fellow Skepticism listener. I see people are actually watching, good. How can anybody find this stuff boring? I think this album is great.
Awesome! Epic and majestic as fuck! Not even a bit boring or depressive! Their music makes me feel like I'm floating over the clouds, swimming in the sound waves, far from this world, without any care and in peace with every form of life! Incredible band, no other bands can give you such emotions, bring peace to your mind and make you live out-bodily trips in the aether like Skepticism. I don't even think that "funeral doom metal" is the right label for them (well, they have organs, though!).
People have their own perspective on things. Agreed. Faith No More has some pretty moody stuff. I like having this song blasting in my ears as I'm trudging off to work in the mournings (pun intended) Really gets me going. Great album.Swans is another band labeled depressive.
I might be wrong, but I think the genre funeral doom metal means that it is played at the pace of a funeral march, not that it sounds as depressive 'as a funeral' or like a funeral.

what a powerful song, i just love the atmosphere of this song, the vocals are just perfectly obscure fitting to the atmosphere.
Lead & Aether is one of the best Funeral Doom albuns out there! Absolutely Perfect! No question about it!

Oh it was just something I slapped together when I was bored and wanted something to do with my hands.

Sure, but this here tune would be perfect at a funeral. Creep out everybody, that's how I want to go ha ha.
@swans1997 Swans "labeled" depressive? I'd rather not label them just as depressive. Swans can be very uplifting as well.
This stuff actually makes me feel alive rather than morose really.
