*It's so sad that it was Hardy's weight (what was funniest about his presentation) that ultimately killed him even though he shed a lot of it (when he retired) as per the doctor's order. Laurel was the bigger comedy of the duo but Hardy was the one who set up the scene and the premise for every humorous escapade they had.*
Surely, Stan Laurel was the funniest man ever to wear shoe leather. His scripts are all original gems. I see nothing of his work coming from Chaplin. The next great entertainer after this? W.C Fields of course and then the Marx Brothers. Precious.
Even though u know what's going to happen its still so funny when played out by these comic masters. I bless the day they met. ❤️😂😂
Thank you for this fab post of Stan and Oliver, their infinite gifts inspire me to get through these bad times 🌹
If any of you cry at my funeral,i'll never speak to you again.Stan laurel
The greatest double-take ever!
They were so funny
If and when I need to laugh then I will look at the Laurel and Hardy clip. Any clip of the two will do

Hardy's good looks - especially when looking at the camera is also comically funny to me too!
L&H are as wonderfully funny as ever. Does anyone know which film this clip is from?
so many good clips have been removed from RUclips for some reason.
jamesbobo oh no
Eric Sykes re-used the joke in "Mr H Is Late"
