I went to that Surugaya in Ikebukuro once and all I saw was anime goods. I guess I missed another floor with the games! I thought maybe I was at the wrong place haha

speaking of MIKADO, I JUST got my copy of RAIDEN 3 X MIKADO MANIAX... don't know if i'm as into it as I was RAIDEN 4, but hey more RAIDEN is never really a bad thing. great idea with the pictures especially if there's any kinda language barrier going on. some solid pickups for sure! eventually will have to pull the trigger on an actual copy of DARIUS Twin, but I have the digital collection with it in the meantime! (and been so sidetracked collecting for saturn anyway it might be my favorite system at the moment... found a really cheap copy of real bout fatal fury so just waiting for it to get here!)

I stayed in Ikebukuro earlier this year, so I was quite excited when I saw the title for this video. I liked Ikebukuro so much that I'd like to stay there again next time I visit. I played the same Space Harrier machine at Mikado 23:36 so seeing it in this video is really cool.

Yes, G-Darius was an arcade game, but the console version was originally exclusive to the PS1 until the HD remaster that released last year (maybe it was 2021?).
Taito Memories PS2, and Taito Legends 2 PS2 included the arcade release on both compilations.
Remaster is on ps4/5, I enjoy It 😁
When you scrolled past Master of Monsters @16:22 I found a new import for my want list. Played that a lot as a kid, trying to find a Genesis and that cartridge got me back into gaming years later.
Good old Ikebukuro. I lived there in 2017 and loved frequenting The Super Potato and the Book Off. Next time you're in the area if you can be bothered taking a small 10 minute detour from Ikebukuro station, there's a smaller unknown Book Off Plus in Kanamechou. Scored myself many good deals there including a very cheap Metal Slug Second Mission for the Neo Geo Pocket Colour.

I love Darius Gaiden but I've never played G Darius. Weird.
I`d have to say Gaiden is the better game overall, but G Darius is still really good. Definitely worth playing.

22:31 i was sitting on right side cab of initial d Zero last mid November. i also lost my suica card with 10kyen or so on it from the walk to and from metro to that arcade... still enjoyed the visit alot. i visited both locations during that visit

8:38 Nitro Punks Mighthead, aka Rocky Rodent in the US. I bought the Japanese version last year as it was cheaper, and it came with F1 Circus Special from Nichibutsu.
Magical Drop 2 SFC remains elusive to me to this day. Ebay prices from the rare US seller is always bad, the only one is a boxed copy with the stickers, asking price, $74.99.
Twice I had some nice long posts, but RUclips ate the damned thing twice. Not one offensive word in it for RUclips to do this. This app continues to get worse, and worse to use.
I`ve noticed several comments on recent videos from people stating that their comments were deleted. I`ve never deleted any comments so I`m wondering what the hell is going on.
@@MadPanicGaming RUclips censor bots have been the problem. If they think anything is offensive, or close to sensitive, they auto delete comments. They keep this up, they'll keep losing content creators.

I've had this stuff in my music library for years, but I found it all via RUclips, RUclips studio, Google, soundcloud etc.

That mikado is funny because right near there there is a strip club also called mikado so if you try to google maps it there is a chance you may be lead down a dark path.

BTW do Japanese arcades still use coins in the machines or do they employ an entrance fee model, or are there both? The machines in the video look to have the 100 yen coin slot at least.
They take coins, some 100 yen and some 50 yen, and some arcades also include card scanners with their machines that take train cards etc.
How much money did you guys spend just to go to Japan and get a hotel flight and everything I want to know because I'm planning on going🎮🕹😀👍🏾

When it comes to arcades, us in the west are stuck with the same old 80’s stuff (I’m tired of seeing Donkey Kong, I want those modern Japanese cabinets and EXA without having to travel to Japan) we’ve seen a million times and the generic crap, but none of the cool Japanese cabinets showing up in Canada or the US these days. I even called these local arcades to see if they got anything from EXA or any cabinet imported from Japan. Sadly they did not. My search began after I saw a Tetris Grand Master video from Seattle btw.
Lol the states had some of the greatest cabs ever
Also if you want one of these cabs in the video they aren’t even that expensive. They will be to import though.

Magical Drop 6 came out a few months ago but sadly I think currently it's digital only on consoles and PC. But Forever Limited is doing pre-orders on copies for switch but since that is a EU company shipping is going to cost a arm and a leg to get it to the states.
