- In this video we get to to create realistic water FX After Effects, specifically we will learn how to composite your logo or text into a puddle of water. This is a quick and easy tutorial that will hopefully inspire you on your next motion design! This is a great beginner tutorial for those of you just getting started in After Effects. For this effect we will use no 3rd party plugins and a simple displacement map to pull off a realistic composition.

Hey, thank you so much for the tutorials!
Something that I think could help a lot is maybe putting a preview of the final effect at the beginning of the video while you're introducing the topic
It might really help with more abstract concepts like realistic water fx. Otherwise, I find myself having to fast forward in order to see if your effect is what I'm looking for
There is a preview a few seconds in. Ans I try to preview it as early as possible but thank you for the tip!

Not that this should justify my mistake, but adding "Preview" to the list of timestamps in the video's description could be awsome for virtually blind people like me...
