That's what everyone seems to get wrong about Prometheus, he's not motivated by love or empathy. People forget that he's a trickster god like Loki, he's motivated by upsetting the order if things and pulling one on the gods. Sometimes humanity benefits from it and sometimes they dont.
Prometheus makes man out of clay. Enki makes man out of clay. Khnum make man out of clay. All are associated with water. All have brothers. Each culture appears to tell the story from a different angle.
Oh My God!!! YEAH!!!! I Remember That Show!!!! I used to love that show when I was a kid!!! Ugh! Nickelodeon hasn't shown that show in YEARS!!! It's NEVER been on since way, way back in the very beginning of Nickelodeon's time! Nowadays that show is so underrated! It's like it doesn't exist anymore to anybody in this day in this day age, It's just like a long distance memory that no one ever seems to talk about anymore! Man! Where does history ever repeat itself?! It's good every once in a while just to reunite with the past times, and bring back those old memories, while just taking a little trip down memory lane, and bringing back the inner past times of that nostalgia of those old shows, and getting a blast from the past with the very old and forgotten memories! Ahhh... Just where do the old times go? Time just flies by everytime, just as life catches on with older you get... By the way, Hell Yeah! I remember Prometheus and Bob! I haven't seen that show in "YEARS"!!! But I never forgot about it!! And always treasured it as my inner nostalgic motives!!! 😎 👍... Oh Yeah...
Do more mythology. There is so much that goes unappreciated. the fennel stalk part is especially interesting. From what I understand, before Man knew how to create fire, he had to carry it around everywhere, isn't that right? After all, why wouldn't humanity be able to create fire themselves? Why in the story, did it need to be carried down from the mountain? This story might be an especially old throwback to that time.

Consider this if Zeus steals fire from humans but humans do not die because of it. How is that possibly worse than having the fire, having the science, stealing the religion if all it amounts to is unleashing all the evils of the world? The whole moral of the story is NOT about how cruel gods torture people, rather, how in the pursuit of riches we end up harming ourselves and others. I agree with the idea you do more harm than good when you set your sights as low as money, however, I disagree with the idea we should be oblivious to our environment

Wonderful stuff! The myth of Prometheus is one of my favorites as he was one of the few gods that was unflinching in his devotion to humanity.
