I usually say 7:
Snake/dance off
Stick squared/morris dancing
Long/hand sniping
Medium/deep targets
Close/pocket
Clinch
Ground
I highlight the difference between only being able to hit the extended weapon and being able to hit the extended hand, because failing to distinguish them leads to much suffering; and pocket vs clinch because just because you can connect doesn't mean that you have to
