Just came back to say I beat it with your advice! I will add that I ended up maxing out hp and defense souls for several pals and it made a heap of difference and several of them didn't even die. Maybe I also got lucky but the fight's margin of error was much better than I expected and the fight flying on top of ragnahawk, without that many pals left, feels so much more fun in the second phase compared to first phase.
This is a fantastic guide. Wow, this is high end stuff. I am doing good against the regular Libero version and try to get ready for this. Maybe it's a bit easier with the new level 55 content.
Poison does not work, but low cd skills will help spread your pals to avoid aoe and keep them from clumping the boss and blocking your shots. Dragon cannon is ideal.
For jetragon u have a ton of skills listed, are u recommended to mix them up so that they have different variety and spread out more? Also I asked about IV in a separate video, but also how much of an impact does soul upgrades make? Now that you can use the crusher to down grade souls, it may be a massive difference to farm anubis for large souls and then soul upgrade the pals. My main fear is that second phase, I read online that it’s not actually weak to fire damage because it doesn’t switch its weakness, it just changes it’s moveset. Was that incorrect?
That information is incorrect, it is weak to fire. The mix of skills was just to help them spread out more for the aoe damage as the player does the majority of the damage and I had those skill fruits on hand. The most important skill is seed mine, which will probably get a nerf soon. Souls do make a huge difference, but I have not spent any time grinding Anubis for them. None of these pals were IV max or souls max, just good traits and max level with a mix of condensation levels.
@@ProfessorPenking Thank you for the response. Are you recommending to have seed mine in all of the pals used in this fight? Also why didn’t u use astegon? And why jormuntide ignis? Even tho ignis has better stats, it suffers from not being able to have legend or divine dragon right? I also didn’t understand why 15 of ignis needs to be 4 stared vs only 12 jetdragon?
I strongly recommend Seed Mine on every pal right now, I expect it to get nerfed pretty soon. I simply did not remember Astegon, it is a good pal for the fight. Jormuntide Ignis was easy to catch for condensing since it is not an alpha boss and had good enough stats for the fight. Since the new patch you can breed Blazehowl + Jormuntide for Jormuntide Ignis, allowing for good traits. There wasn't really a reason for the specific number of condensed pals, it's just what I happened to have after hours of grinding. I was running 4 Jetragon breeding farms while catching Jormuntide Ignis.
Very cool. I am prepping to solo Ultra myself and am exploring several options. A few questions: 1) why did you not use any Astegons? They seem tankier than the other two dragons 2) Did you try using some Pals with ice attacks? They seem to be able to consistently freeze her which might make it worth subbing in over a couple of Jetragons 3) I was considering setting up missile launchers around the perimeter and have Astegons man them to have my team more spread out and provide a constant barrage of fire, and when they get destroyed the Astegons can still fight. Curious if you explored this
Thanks! 1, No idea, you are probably right. Astegon seems like a great choice for this fight, I just went with these because they also have the correct element and good stats. 2, Ice pals worked great when I tried them, but died a little too fast vs ultra in my experience. You could experiment with ice skills on other pals and see how it works. 3, I did not want any structures that Bella could destroy, but it could work.
I was wondering if you've tried this without any base Pals at all. It seems like you're doing most of the damage and your base Pals are more likely to block your shots.
Blazamut is very fragile, I would invest in more Jormuntide Ignises to keep some for the second phase, my strat was mixing 10 jormuntide ignis with dragon attacks and 10 with fire attacks, this way both phases are covered, and with the healing potion I didn't need to switch pals during the fight at all.
Great video, thanks! I've seen a lot of people set up the palbox in places that bellanoir can't hit. Do you think this is worth it? Looking forward to the xp guide!
I have not seen a Palbox get destroyed if not placed on a foundation, so it should not be necessary. But with today's patch increasing Pal damage the palbox might be in danger haha.
is your attack set to double in the game settings? I am riding a maxed out 4 star Chillet and 4 maxed out 4 star Gobfin and my Legendary Rocket with 2 Attack+2 Pendants can only do 3500 to 4000 damage to the Libero Ultra. Yours is like 8000 or more. But I saw in another video it was also like a 8000 damage, so I am not sure if it is due to 0.2.2.0 changes
New breeding this patch: Blazehowl + Jormuntide = Jormuntide Ignis, so it is now possible to get Legend, Flame Emperor and Divine Dragon on Jormuntide Ignis!
Getting them to level 50 is not that bad, around 25 minutes per group of 4 pals, I recently posted a XP guide specifically for this. It's the condensing to rank 4 that is a long grind, as each breeding farm takes 10 hours to make 1 rank 4 pal. (117 pals).
Hit high level dungeons with 4 pals you want to level up and 1 maxed pal. Use the maxed pal to beat the dungeon, the lower level pals will go up massively. The pals around the dungeon will be level 30-40+, and you can run through them easy with one level 50 pal. You can jump to field boss fights with the same combo and really level them up too. Now you can get training manuals that really boost your pals level, I think the XL ones can add a LOT.
The easiest method I found is to farm the tower bosses. Even Zoe and Grizzbolt give your Pals decent XP at the mid levels. Run through whichever ones are trivial to defeat and repeat. Beyond that, run through some of the dungeons and collect as many training manuals as you can. Another thing I found useful is to always keep your base Pals doing something like smelting or cooking and you'll get passive XP while they complete the task and you remain on base.

Well. Looks like im going to be holding onto these slabs for a long time lol
Love your videos. Keep them coming!
Can Ultra be poisoned? I’m not sure Poison Blast works here?

I found your video and usually "watch" with my ears at work I wish this had words to it

Also if you use one specific spot for the raids placing a single foundation on the stone will prevent you from having to clean up every time
That's a good tip!
how are you using two attack pendants when it only lets you use one on my game
This video is from pre-sakurajima. We now have 4 accessory slots but can't use the same one twice.

So how does that work with Jormuntide Ignis being both Dragon and Fire? Is he both resistant and weak to Ice?
@@sergeantsapient ice damage is neutral to Jormuntide Ignis.

howd you get the legend and flame on ignis?
There is a new breeding pattern for jormuntide ignis so it can now get traits like legend and flame emperor. Blazehowl+jormuntide = Jormuntide Ignis.
@@ProfessorPenking thank you awesome!
Does taking out Libero Ultra mean I can hatch a stronger Libero or does it just have better drops?
Just better drops from the ultra versions of raid bosses.
Ohh, thanks for the info!

This is default settings. Have you set your player stats into attack?
I have a genuine question: How is it a SOLO when you have 2 sets of high level pals fighting with you?
Because it is a multiplayer game normally dude...
Solo as in without the help of other players. Of course he's going to use his Pals. That's the whole point of the game.
How did u get legend on jor ignis?....
