Lutz runs a promod. They're starting to crack down on promods vs real cars for records and rightfully so. You can get a pornmod down to 2100 pounds if you go all in on it with straight carbon. Street car isn't going to make that no matter what if it's NHRA legal safety wise.

It is as much a street car as fireball, and it is actually driven way more on the street. Bailey's car even has cup holders
There’s a difference between a street car and street “legal” car. It’s a car that’s driven on the streets with no issues. I did drag week this year and he drove every mile we did, with zero issues. Other “street cars” had more problems.
Tom Bailey has driven over 1000 miles a week on public roads during Drag Week. Ryan’s car could not make it 10 miles on a public street. While one was ‘created’ as a race car (Bailey) and one a street car (Martin) they are actually reversed in purpose. Don’t downplay Tom Baileys accomplishments. I know Ryan wouldn’t. Guarantee you Ryan respects Tom and what he has accomplished.
